learning Spanish

I am really enjoying this game card. I especially like that you can compare your pronounciations with a Spanish speaker. I started out as a baby on the game card and am now up to pre-school. The games really help to imprint the words in your mind. I have tried to learn Spanish before but gave up. I am hopeful that I will progress further this time.

This game is a very valuable learning tool. There are history lessons about Spanish countries around the world with interesting facts about each. The games are fun and can get challenging which increases learning. The immediate feedback is awesome with an immediate review if you so choose. I am very happy with this product!!

An interesting gift

I got this game as a gift and I love it! It really helped me learn and get ahead of the other students in my 8th grade class. It is fun and educational. The great thing with this game is that you don't get bored playing it. If you already have a high Spanish level you will still have to go through a few basic stuff even with the test you take to find out your level.

My Spanish Coach

I've used other programs before trying this. "My Spanish Coach" starts you with a short test to determine what level you should begin at. It teaches you at your own pace through games that are enjoyable and challenging. It has a dictionary you can look up words by typing in Spanish or English. It also contains thousands of useful phrases, you can save your favorite phrases for quick referencing. This is the best program I've used so far and I've used several of the way-more-expensive ones! For this price it is an awesome, portable deal. I am amazed by this tiny chip! Highly recommended.

I purchased this game for my daughter who is taking Spanish in Middle School. It has helped her already and she has not even had it a month (it was a Christmas gift). What helps the most is if you can spend time to do it daily. A great investment for less than $30.00. Also, Amazon.com was the only place I could find it around where we live and the price was less than I expected. I would recommend it to anyone learning Spanish or wanting to learn.

I absolutely love this game.

When I first bought the game I wasn't sure it would do me any good -- boy was I surprised. I highly recommend this game to any student or person taking spanish. Not only does this game teach you spanish but also helps you to learn how to pronounce the words correctly.

You will not advance in the game until you have learned your lesson. There are many different ways for you to learn your vocabulary and I've found that I have two distictive favorites. I highly suggest you buy the game today!

I love this product! I took Spanish in high school and college (30 years ago) and had forgotten much of what I learned. I now have a Spanish-speaking son-in-law and two Spanish-speaking grandchildren, so it was important for me to pick the language up again. Of all the products I tried, nothing was as good as this. I love it! It's not too hard, but not too easy, either. I can practice the same words over and over if I need to ... and I love the "Spelltastic" feature that helps one learn to spell Spanish words, as well! It's a great product!! I would buy it again and again, if I needed to!

It has been a good many years since I took Spanish in High School, so I thought it might be a good idea to see if I could brush up on a little of the language since it is becoming more common here in the United States. Although I don't really intend to do a lot of speaking of the language, I thought that at least being able to read and understand the printed word would be very useful.

As far as the basics ... the numbers, months, days and other vocabulary words are helpful to know, I'm not sure that they will be all that useful in the future for me. And, I'm still so rusty at this, that the verbal pronunciations seem to rattle along so fast that I can't seem to understand what is being said. Maybe I just need to practice more.

I wouldn't trust myself if I were to attempt to get by on a trip to a Spanish speaking country. It's almost funny - some of the phrases they give you to use in just such a situation, I can't ever see saying to anyone on a trip ... in English, let alone Spanish!

But, it is better than nothing and I'm glad I bought the Spanish Coach. It just wasn't as extensive or as helpful as I had expected.

"My Spanish Coach" for Nintendo DS is a helpful product for anyone who wants to learn Spanish. With simple, fun games, and light humor, you can learn Spanish in a fun way. Do not mistake the products platform, Nintendo DS, as a sign that this game makes the language simple; you should be warned it is still work, and is by no way the only tool you'll need to MASTER the language. However, as a tool to assist you in learning the language, or a way to refresh your spanish, this product is an excellant choice.
