Great for the kids

My 4-year-old and even 2-year-old love this game on the DS. Not only are there many simple coloring "pages" but there puzzles and games to color and draw through as well. Recommended for learning colors, hand eye coordination and just having fun.

I bought Crayola Treasure Adventures for my 3 1/2 year old son's 4th birthday. He loves this game!! It is very easy for him to understand, as there is no reading involved. He gets to color and put puzzles together. He gets to feel like the older kids (8 and 11) and mom and dad who play the Nintendo DS games as well. I recommend it!

Perfect for the Younger Child

Our 4 year old enjoys playing this game. It includes coloring, puzzles, and dot to dot which teaches basic numerical order. Games for the younger child are hard to find for the DS and I was pleased that this one proved to be fun. It provided entertainment for our 4 year old son on a 3 1/2 hour plane ride.

Best game for a 3 1/2 year old kid...games & coloring

My 3 1/2 year old little boy found this game easy to play & a ton of fun.

Great Idea But....

This seemed like a great game, but... it took my 6 year old about an hour to complete in full. Once you complete the game you can't re-set it. She is really bored with it now. For the price it seems like sort of a waste of money. Not enough levels even for a 6 year old. Concept is good though; teaches counting, nice colors. But in short, I would not have spent the money for this little. I would expect WAY more from Crayola!

Great Game!

When I read a preview for this game, it sounded awesome for my 2 year old. She loved goofing around on the DS, but there was nothing that would let her draw freehand or color.

Crayola Treasure Adventures was the answer! It has a fun game that she will be able to play through once she gets the concept, and the coloring book is easy enough for her to pick a page and begin coloring.

The one drawback that leaves her frustrated is that the game does not allow you to color outside the lines on the picture. This sounds neat, but it is not, because if she puts her pen down inside a small shape (like an ear), and begins to draw, only the little ear is being colored. I have to keep showing her that if she wants to draw in the big shapes or the background, she has to start with her pen there, which is a tough concept for her to grasp.

I'm sure as she gets a little older she will absolutely love this game! Thanks, Crayola, for caring about the little people in our lives!

My daughters all love this game!

This is another great game that all of my girls enjoy (ages 9 with special needs, 7 and 3). The game is a little complicated for my three year old (just turned three) to do the puzzles without help, but she loves coloring and all of my girls ask constantly to play the game. I would recommend this game! We buy all of our games for ds based on ratings from ign.com and this game rated very well on there. Also, amazon was great and shipping was fast- this game is actually very hard to find, as none of the stores around us carried it and only a few online stores. Amazon was the cheapest due to the free shipping..ebay didn't even have it!

A game a 5 year old can play!

I purchased this game as a Christmas present for my 5 year old daughter to accompany a new DS. Judging by the fact it's "Crayola," I was comfortably confident it was age appropriate for her. Many games require reading skills well beyond a Kindergarten education, but this game is not the case. Right from opening it, my daughter had a great time with it! It's simple enough for her to use without adult help, yet there's enough for her to do to keep her busy for a while. The more you play the games, the more colors of crayons are unlocked.

This game is a godsend. It's geared toward her age group, and for a little one who loves to color and draw, it's wonderful. I would not suggest purchasing it for an older child, but I'd agree with the other reviewer that 3-7 year olds will find it amusing. It's definitely a game a little one will feel confident playing!

Great for beginners!

I bought this for my six year old who is new to the video game craze. She received this and her Nintendo DS for Christmas. She loves this game, it is easy and fun for kids just beginning to navigate. She got some other games that she got very frustrated with because she just wasn't able to navigate them, but she loves this one the most, by far.

Finished the first night.

When I saw this game I thought great finally a game without violence. this is worth the high price(I thought). I got it for my son's 6th birthday. He did all three adventures the first night. It probably took lees than an hour. I was very disappointed that it wasn't more challenging. I liked the concept of puzzles for a DS game but this would be better for younger kids. My son has only had his DS for 3.5 months and it was definitley to easy for him.
