This is an awesome game. I loved the PS game, and I knew this would be one of the best Nintendo GB games ever. They droped 2 characters from the original game, though. It has good graphics, clear game play, and great features.

Great!

Im a big fan of gba and one of the biggest star wars fans ever. this game is no letdown. it keeps you playing, has amazing sound and some of the best graphics, even though it is a very big game. if you dont believe me about the graphix, check out some of the pictures. i dont expect this game will sell good at first because , and i should know, i own it: obi wans adventures was a really bad game. get power battles. so if you want to buy it wait till it goes on sale. Buy it!!!!

Those negative reviews are W-R-O-N-G WRONG! This in fact is a
G-R-E-A-T G-A-M-E GREAT GAME! There 10 levels (so I read.) in this game. The best character mustbeWindu! he's NOT my favorite character but his performance is awesone! when you kill an alien-ish dude there sort of an "ugh" sound.(I think.) what stinks is that there's no save feature BUT there's dumb pass-code feature. This might something good to bring on that 5 hour trip to summer vaction : D

The Best (and only) Star Wars game for the GBA

I am also a fan of the Playstation version of this game, and was pumped when they announced that it would be coming out for the GBA. I love SW games and buy almost every one that comes out for a system I own. If anyone has read the review in Nintedo Power of JPB they might come off thinking that this game is no different than Obi Wan Adventures for the GBC. I own both games, and while perhaps JPB could possibly have taken a little better advantage of the GBA's graphical abilities, I was happy with the game. My main grudge with Obi Wan Adv. was that it was soooo sloooow. JPB is very quick paced, and the characters run pretty fast. There are the 4 playable characters in the GBA version: Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon, and Mace Windu (you can unlock Darth Maul after beating the game). Each character has his own unique moves and Force move. The levels are very lush and detailed, and killing droids lets off a cool sparks. The gameplay is very challanging, and jumping can be tricky at times. But overall, I highly recommend this game.

I first played this game on the Dreamcast. My brother and I were addicted to it for hours as it was a lot of fun! With the GBA version there were some differences. In the DC version you didn't fight Jar Jar Binks. There were parts of the first level that were difference. In the opening portion of the seconds level, you were trying to outrun a droid ship through a stampede of animals and of course the game perspective was 3rd person 3D and not isometric like the GBA version. One other thing to note is that missing in this game was the level where you could overtake a Droid tank and take control of the City of Theed with it. That was a very cool level in the DC version!

The sound track, was different in the GBA version which I didn't enjoyed as much as the DC version sound track. Although the lasers and lightsaber sounds wer very similar!

But all that aside, THQ did a decent job of recapturing the essance of the game. Game control wasn't that bad! One reviewer seemed to have trouble with jumping. granted, just like the DC version, jumping was a bit tricky at times, but once you get used to it it gets easier. I think it's one of the few Star Wars games, on the GBA that really gives you the feel of the Star Wars universe.
