I have Phantasy Star Online V.2 of Pc Game.(In Asia PC version came out.)
I've played it and you know what...
This game ROCKS!!!
I give 6 stars because this is the most funniest , coolest, cool
online Rpg game i've ever played in my whole entire life!!!!

In this game, you can play online or travel through phantasy world alone. Also if you have PC version, After playing all the
QUESTS(you'll know what I mean when you play this game), You can download more from the INTERNET!
In Online, You can battle with your friend, travel...etc.
If you've played RPG games like FF series...
You'll never regret it.
Because you know what...

This game rocks. It is one cent more than the other one also(at least on amazon). But you get a lot more than number 1. New weopens, new features, new almost everything. and on top of all that.... PSO Version 1!!!! Stop complianing about the price of 15 dollars for three months.

The Dreamcast goes out in style

It's sad to see the Dreamcast leaving us. But it's great to know that it's leaving us in style with some of the best games. After Sega announced they would stop producing the Dreamcast, some of the best games have been released. NBA 2K2, NFL 2K2, NHL 2K2, Sonic Adventure 2, and of course Phantasy Star Online version 2.

PSO version 2 is about the Pioneer being destroyed. You use your created character to go around a planet called Ragol to research what happened and it's remains, etc. The gameplay is one area that PSO version 2 really shines. You can choose to either play online or off-line (both excellent modes). If you own PSO version 1 for Dreamcast you will be able to port you character form that game into version 2. Unlike most RPG's this game is a big-time slashing, shooting and killing game and is much more fun than many RPG's. This game also has many new quests that were not in PSO version 1 as well as several new levels such as Cave and Beach to go along with Forest 1 and Forest 2. Sonic Team has also made it easier to get more useful items throughout the game. Meseta (the money in PSO) is much more plentiful and rare items are much easier to find than in PSO version 1. Also you will find more items such as weapons that can be used by your type of character. If you would rather play online it will cost you $15 for 3 months which is not at all a bad deal. Online you can play Battle Mode vs. other players around the world, play Go-Go Soccer in the lobby or join forces with others.

If you own Phantasy Star Online version 1 and have yet to pick up version 2, you don't know what you're missing. With new quests, more rare items, and great, new levels, PSO version 2 is one of the best games on the Dreamcast. The DC definitely goes out in style.

I just bought this game online so it should get here this week and i cant wait to stay up all night to lv up!The first on kicked so the second on has to be dominit!Ill try to reach lv 200 but itll be awile to get there! I have to say the first game rocked! It was the holy grail of all video games. Know back to PSOver.2. The game is RPG like with a little shoot em' up in it. It has over 200 weps!(some incredibly rare to find and will take hours of play to find). The game is pretty complex with all the char. statistics but incredibly fun! The new version will have 2 more levels to play (Both can only be played in Battle Mode), all monsters look different, new dawn to dusk background effect, tons of new items like the Ancient Sword, Hildebear Cane, Plaintiff Leaf and tons more, new mags including old SEGA consoles and old SEGA chars. as the mags themselves!, new Ultra Hard Mode, Battle Mode so you can fight with other people insted og monsters and a new lobby soccer game which you could play for fun or when your just waiting for your friend. You start the game with a choice of 3 categories of character to choose from, Hunter's (Excell in close range combat), Force's (Amazing with Magic) and Ranger's (Great with guns). Tough choice, each has their strength's and weakness's. You decide. Then you start playing in huge, magnificent, 3D Worlds, defeating enemies while picking up any good items you find and leveling up your character so he becomes stronger and has a better chance against the game. There is a small bad thing about this new version. For where it was free to play online in ver.1, in ver.2 you have to pay to play..... From what you just heard, this game is very very addictive. You'll have hours of fun leveling up your own made char. to try to reach to lvl 200!(almost impossisible) Offline or Online. Battling Monsters to gain Exp. and skill, trying to collect all the best weapons and mostlly, annoy the people you live with to the brink of Insanity! Later!

this is a very good game except that the only way you can play is online and sega is shutting down the servers so you can't play version 2 at all if you wan't this game then get the original or the one for Gamecube or Xbox

This is the second largest travisty in all video game history only following PSO ver.1. What part of Phantasy Star "ONLINE" doesn't just screem for broadband compatibility. You would think that that would have been one of the primary objectives for release one but note that even when given a second chance to get it right they still flubbed. Ironic don't you think that A "SEGA" designed "SEGA" programed "SEGA" released product would work on a "SEGA" built unit with "SEGA" peripherals but nooooooo. We have to wait till they release the game later for the "SONY" system before they might actually get it right. Don't get me wrong the game IS fun as long as you don't mind supporting your home broadband bill as well as a pathetic 33.6kbps antiquated I can't even stand the thought of it 1994 technology known as "Dialup" and having to Pay to play on top of all that. If you ask me I think they should be paying anyone who buys this game for the mental anguish of having to put up with "Dialup" in their house. If you don't mind getting ... both comming and going then by all means pick this up and enjoy but personally I'LL wait to see if they figure this ... out by the time it releases on the PS2. ITs things like this make you wonder how on earth did SEGA fail in the console market HEHEHE.

PSO v.2

Let me say this in the first one you could get tons of items, weapons,armor and anything you could imagine. Well....In v.2 its everything times two ! Tons of upgrades, new items and tons more ! Some slight drawbacks though. No new characters, that stinks, no big deal though. And some of the same blah ( Did I sound arrogant, eek !) enimies. But there are new ones like Barbie a giant Rhino morph. Also you have to pay to play, luckily its not that expensive, its 15 dollars for every three months u play. I played the Japanese version and it ruled, but I wonder what the Americans got up there sleeve...?

This game is great! Sure you have to pay to play but it's only [price] every 3 months. It is one of the best games that ever hit the Dreamcast. It is an RPG but better. The best part is you go on to the internet get a team together and play through the game as a team. It even has multiplayier and a soccer game in the lobby. I'm forming a group as soon as I get the english version.
