I'm a huge fan of The Sims and The Sims 2; I own all the exspansion packs. I, however, was a bit hesitent about buying any of these "Stuff Packs," because why spend twenty dollars on a couple new objects when you can go to websites like TheSimsResource.com and ModTheSims2.com and download even better user-created things for free? But when this one came out I just couldn't resist buying it because of all the Princess stuff (and I'm a sucker for princess stuff) even though I knew it would probably be a waste. It turned out not to be though, it's not worth twenty dollars AT ALL but the things it comes with are pretty neat. If you're a sims addict like me(and spend all your time hoping and praying maxis won't make another expansion but can't stop buying them) you won't be disapointed. Though if I were thinking of buying it right now, I think I'd wait a couple months for it to hit the bargain bin or at least ask someone else to buy it for me for Christmas.
One of the few stuff packs that is good

I hate having to spend the money on stuff packs but this one was worth it for me. There is not a lot of content for teen rooms that I have found. I bought it for the Goth but will be using the other themes also. All in all not unhappy with this pack.

With reviews of stuff packs you often see multiple complaints regarding the amount of content versus the price. This is easily arguable and when comparing the amount of content in an expansion pack versus a stuff pack and then the price comparison you are indeed better off buying the expansions. BUT, sometimes you are in the market for something in particular. Yes, there are many custom content creators out there who can rival EA for quality and value, but not everyone is comfortable downloading custom content and others prefer knowing the content they get is going to be completely game compatible. That is when stuff packs are the most useful.
All that said... Teen Style Stuff is my first stuff pack purchase. I've been interested in other stuff packs but the price has made them not essential to my gaming experience. The gothic furniture was my main interest but the socialite and sporty styles were also a draw. With Teen Style Stuff the pack does stress the teenaged sims.
There are new full body outfits for teen males and females, new pajamas and work-out wear for girls and work-out wear for boys. A handful of new hairstyles, which include styles with visors and trucker hats. These visor and hat styles do match with the outfits for the teens. In addition to these there are items for practical use such as beds, end tables, chairs, lamps, a tv, a radio and a computer. You'll also get a lot of decorative items including a 'rug' that looks like a clothes strewn on the floor. Lastly, there are wallpapers and floors to match it all. (For screenshots and pictures of the items mentioned you can check EA's The Sims 2 website or google for them).
After loading this stuff pack up into my game I sat down and played with the available items, including making new teen sims with the hairstyles and clothing. The clothing choices I very much liked though they were pretty much color variations on the same small handful of styles (but that's how it is with the game anyway). The hairstyles didn't thrill me really, but the hat options were fitting with current trends. As far as the items go, I had fun creating a couple of bedrooms with them and I liked that while there were three different styles most items could be mixed around between them to some extent. The only things I wasn't really impressed with were the flooring options. The carpets did not match very well with the wallpapers in my opinion.
Overall, I am very pleased with this stuff pack. I was able to purchase mine for the $15.99 price here on Amazon which is a bit better of a price than the $19.99. If you know what you're getting the price shouldn't be a deterant. I chose this pack because I felt it had the most items I would actually enjoy and make use of, and it is just what I was hoping it would be. This might be Teen Style Stuff but the decorative items and practical items would be perfect for children and even dorm rooms if you have the University expansion. This is not the stuff pack for you if you do not play many child, teen or young adult sims.
This is a Teen haven

You need Sims 2 to installed this fun pack. It brands into the game and are access when you created sims or do deco of houses or layout. My daughter who plays this game said the stuff is very cool. She has all ther expansion and fun pack for the game. What you do need if you get all the packs for this game is a good size hard drive.

Finally your teenaged sims can decorate their rooms with their style. No more adult furniture! The only thing I would love to see added to the game would be more clothing suited for Teenagers and a way to change their clothing easier and much more often (like normal people). Also, I would love to see some new cool cars for teens. I love the Sims and this expansion pack is filled with new items. We just need more, more, more!
Fun new houses were a bonus!

We bought this for the fun teen stuff & were pleasantly surprised by the pre-decorated houses (same format on the outside, but different on the inside). This inspired us to create a teen neighborhood - with a few watchful adults and a couple of pesky younger siblings, of course!

My 17 year old daughter says this add on to Sims 2 is "pretty fun". I have not added it to my game because it has teen oriented things such as permanent piles of dirty clothes on the floor which would make me crazy. The only thing lacking, according to my daughter, is more cool hairstyles. She says the clothes are awesome.
I Love this pack!

I got the Sims 2 and the Teen Style stuff pack for Christmas and I have to say I love it! All the clothes you can get for your teen Sims are so cute! Also, I love being able to design really cool rooms for your Sims with the three new themes. I would definitely recommend this game for Sims lovers because I thought it was fun and a great add-on to my new Sims 2 game!

Disappointing, I thought there would be more clothes. That's what they made it look like in the advertisements. My teens don't really need a queen sized bed either. Could have left that out and made more clothes. I thought there would be way more interesting stuff. Wish I hadn't bothered buying it, you can get better stuff at the free download sites!

There are folks who think that the Stuff Packs aren't worth it, and that you can get free custom content that is better than the Stuff Packs. Granted, in some cases that is true, but with the Stuff Packs you know the attributes on the items are true.
The Teen Style pack was bought for my 13 year old daughter to use with her Sims and she loves the items introduced. Mostly, she loves the packs to decorate a room or styles of clothes. IMHO, this Stuff Pack was worth the price.
