Say No to Extra Fees!!

I love my Xbox and I have Xbox live but there is no way I will be paying extra fees for this game. I bought Xbox Live and was told that it would be one fee for the year. Now they're telling me that some games will have extra fees like this one. It's a joke! What's even worse is that you need Xbox Live even if you plan to play only offline. You may be thinking why would you do that? It's not right that they are forcing you to pay for Xbox Live even if you only plan to play offline with some friends. Don't forget that this version of the game will not allow you to play with people in other regions thereby limiting the number of total players. I'm a big PSO fan but I'm not getting this game for the Xbox. The only Live games I'll buy will be ones without extra fees. I've already decided to pick up a GameCube so that I can play this game and play it with people all over the world.

Well I think this game would be cool if you didnt have to pay to play online. man I already payed for the game once. Im not going to pay to play it online. thats just bull crap.

This game is possibly the worst game i have ever played. The gameplay is incredibly boring and not fun at all. I played this game for about ten minutes and it made me want to throw up. I don't know about you but i think it is horrible,do not buy this game. If you want a good game buy Deus Ex 2 or for a good computer game buy Dark Age of Camelot.

ce jeu est pas mal ressemblant a la version de dremacast , pas grand amelioration graphique. aussi le probleme est que l on dois payer 9.99$us par mois pour jouer en plus de devoir etre inscris a xbox live. ca fais cher pas mal pour un seul jeu. je ne le recommande pas a moins que vous soyez un grand fan de ce jeu.

I liked it but I was pissed to find out you had to pay, after I found that out I took it back to the store. And only a few people on a server also sucks.

I couldn't play this game for the odd color scheme and contrasts in it where just too much for my eyes. I gave it to my friend to play and he loved it. The major rating killers are this.

1. You must have an Xbox Live subscription to play this online.

2. You must also pay an additional fee after your two month free trial is over.

Another problem is that people in the game type like they would on Diablo 2. Finally, hackers are known to frequent this game and can make your experience none too pleasant.

I love this game. I played it on dreamcast and gamecube, and although you CAN go online with those, you don't have to, and you surely didn't have to pay if you just wanted to play offline. I bought this at a gamestop because I loved the earlier versions, I put it in my xbox, and all of a sudden, I realize that I couldn't play it. I'm really mad. However, if you don't mind paying more every month, go for it, it's an amazing game.

I am really mad now. WHY WOULD ONE HAVE TO PAY FOR XBOX LIVE TO PLAY OFFLINE. Boy i have some really nasty comments to say to the creators. Ya its a great game but paying to play offline is...not a good idea. eight dollars a month for a few years does not add up in your favor. and i almost bought it...jeesh

Phantasy Star Online for Dreamcast is tied with the Sims for Mac as my favorite video game of all time. It's just gorgeous. The graphics, the sound, the adventure, the intellectual stimulation of mags and weapons, the feeling that I really am on another planet--I can play for many, many hours and not get tired of it.

Unfortunately, I can't play PSO for Xbox, because I don't have a high speed Internet connection and I wouldn't be able to afford xBox live even if I did. It is a stupid, stupid, stupid thing that I can't even play the *offline* version without an xBox Live account.
