This game is pretty cool. The controlls are great and the grafics are really good! The stages you fight in are the well done! You can also unlock charters! This game is cool and get it and if you love Godzilla.

amazing game with few but huge problems

This game has monumentaly fantastic unpixelated graphics (for the idiots out there who can't understand a single word i just said it means (pretty..... colors). But it does have a few problems.like how it lacks balance between many kaiju (that's the Japanese term for monster). Its almost not fun to play against monsters like "DESTROYAH". If you attack him at close range he will use a series of unblockable unstopable moves that take out half your life in a matter of seconds. Especialy those stuped power horn katana attacks.I got this game because i thought it looked cool. I got it three days ago and i beat this game 5 times already. I beat this game in 4 minutes and 54 seconds (granted i used a cheat code to get every monster and do four times normal damage). but no cheat code in this game is perminant to keep all your monsters and cities you have to unlock them. Wich stinks but its more fun. I have some awsome cheat codes but to type them in you have to be on the main screen that has where you choose to do melee, adventure or verses and stuff like that.(IMPORTANT!)(THESE CODES ONLY WORK FOR THIS EXACT GAME AND ONLY ON THE ORIGIONAL XBOX) you have to PRESS AND HOLD L TRIGGER THEN PRESSAND HOLD B THEN PRESS AND HOLD R TRIGGER (IN THE SAME ORDER I SAID IT!!!!!!!!) (THEN RELEASE IN THIS ORDER)B THEN RIGHT TRIGGER THEN LEFT TRIGGER.If done the exact way i said a box should appear. If it doesn't you didn't do it right.(!!WARNING!! THE FOLLOWING CHEATCODES ARE NOT PERMINANT, THEY WILL TURN OFF IF YOUR XBOX IS TURNED OFF).ALL CITIES AND MONSTERS INCLUDING "ORGA" type 863768 if typed corectly you will hear godzilla roar.PLAYER ONE IS SMALL type 558277 if typed corectly you will hear godzilla roar. I found this game pretty frustrating and generally unplayable till I got the cheat codes from the internet. Playing as invincible got me through the impossible levels and let me enjoy creating mayhem within the wacky story line (which is actually better than some of those old sci-fi movies). Also, the cheat that unlocks all levels and monsters makes this an awsome multiplayer, where players can gang up on each other or the CPU with many varied scenes and monsters. Fight as all natural monsters against the Mechanical CPU. Best is multiplayer destruction, with all the characters trying their best to detsroy major cities.

It's a game which uses every button on the Xbox controller, except Back. Y for defense, A for punch, B for attack, X for kick, the black button for special attack, the white button for picking up/throwing certain things, right trigger for jump, left trigger for run when walking, and Start for pause. But for small hands, the white and black could be tough to reach. And story mode, it doesn't save inbetween. If you quit, you start ALL OVER AGAIN. But luckily, it does save stuff you unlocked. Melee mode you won't find on the GameCube but one of my favorite modes! Graphics are great!

sure its fun if you are a fan of the movies, but this has to be the most frustrating games i have played all year. Its worth a rental, but not worth buying. I recommend War of the Monsters if you want a decent monster fighting game.

"NOT MUCH MORE YOU CAN ASK FOR!", This game has alot of depth for a fighter. What I mean buy that is you have to have a strategy when you take on your opponent. No button mashing here,if you do you will lose very quickly. You must use the battlefield and time your attack right.You must also use a mesh of long and short rang attacks, use the power ups that appear both to help you and keep from your enemy.The Look and feel is perfect and the sounds "WOW" they bring back some good old memories. Botom line, I am a very picky game player I only spend time on the best (the reson I have a XBOX) If a game is even mildly good I will return or sell it so knowing that I will be not only keeping this awsome game but making it one I will be playong as long as I still play games A VERY SATISFYING FIGHTING GAME. -Jason

I have been a fan of Godzilla for years and I began to beg my mom to by it for me the moment the add came on. When I finally got the game a month later, I put the game on and I was dissapointed when I found out that I only started with Godzilla 90`s, Megalon, and Anguirus. But I got more monsters as the yeat went by. I finally only had to unlock Rodan, Mechagodzilla, and Orga. I soon found out the cheat codes and I played this game at least 2 hours a day. If you are a fan of Godzilla, this is definatly a game for you!!

This game is fun for about a week then it gets repetative and boring it is also to hard once you really get into the game. Hard mode is a total waste of time to try to beat and isnt worth the effort when you can use codes for all chacters and infinte life. Only buy this game if you love godzilla or are rich.

This is one of the best Godzilla games to date. I highly recommend the Xbox version or GCN version if your a fan of Godzilla.

Excellent graphics(all though the GCN could be better)and it's a blast to play as any of the monsters my favorite being Kiryu aka MechaGodzilla 3. I bought a GCN for this game but no sooner than I had done so I found out that it was going to be ported to xbox.

One of the good things about the Xbox version is it supports custom soundtracks, it's really great to play this game while your favorite Godzilla scores are playing in the back ground.

Excellent game a must have if your a fan of fighting games or monster movies.

This is not rampage, its a fighter with monsters

I was looking for a party game with simple mindless bashing and point scoring like Rampage, but this was more like street fighter 2 with monsters. The sound is great, but the destruction of buildings is not "messy" and the gameplay is languid. Other fighting games out there are better IMO, but it is unique in that it has monsters.
