Half An Epic

I love God of War, and my love for it is only topped by Zelda.
However, while this game may push all the right buttons, it's just too
d**n short, and way, way, way too easy. It only took me four and a half
hours to beat, and I only died two or three times.
That minor gripe aside, I still loved this game, and would recommend it
to anyone with a PSP.
And plus, as a teenager, I think Kratos' daughter is so kawaii (cute)!

The game was awesome, it did live up to the "GOD OF WAR" title with the fighting style, the music, the graphics, the blood-spilling. But it was too short, ended too quickly for my taste.

A must have for any one interested in hack and slash/adventure

Nothing more can be said about this game, it is a must have and a must play. Just the visuals are so stunning on a PSP that rest of the games on PSP look like cartoons. The action, in the game never lets up with the only downside being a relatively short game. I beat the game in under 6 hrs and felt it should have lasted more. Nevertheless, the actions of kratos and his blades of chaos, Gauntlet of Zeus on his enemies is an unforgettable thing in the game and makes the player addicted to it. I have never played God of war franchise until now, and this game has made me decide to buy a PS2 and the PS2 god of war games and play them.

This game definitely uses the full potential of the PSP. The graphics rival those of the PS2. The bosses are pretty challenging and the weapons and special powers are awesome. Some say the game is short, but I think it has good replay value (beating all of the difficulty levels).

Kratos on the go!

This has got to be one of the best PSP games ever. Kratos is now on the go. All the action of the God of War on a portable. Great graphic, gameplay, sound, God of War Chains of Olympus a must buy for any PSP owner, and if you don't own a PSP here's a great reason to buy one.

If you played and liked any other GOW title, then get this one as well. The graphics are outstanding. The frame rate only slows down enough to notice on god mode. The game is a little short but I liked the story and that it ties directly into the first game. The controls are smooth and the combos are very fluid. Some of the lesser enemies can be a bit too hard to beat and on god mode they love throwing in an extra guy just to mess with your head. There's a good 6-8 hours of game time on each play through and there's plenty of extras like challenges and bonus goodies to unlock. Get it and you wont be chomping at the bit so much while you wait for GOW 3!

The next best thing to Pursuit Force 2. I have it for PS2 and loved it. Soon enough is going to be on PS3, can't wait for that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A MUST HAVE GAME. Both Pursuit Force 2 and God of War:Chains of Olynpus are the games of the year for PSP. That's all I got to say!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has to be the best game made for the PSP thus far! From the incredible graphics, to the amazing audio, to the intense action, this adventure game delivers. This game shows the true potential of the PSP. It is just like having a PS2 in the palm of your hands. I have heard some complaints about the control scheme vs. the console GOW entries, but I have to say that I actually like the Chains of Olympus control setup better. The only complaint I have about this game is that the experience is over too soon. Otherwise, this game is spectacular in every respect and I recommend it to anyone that would enjoy a high-paced action game.

Must have PSP title!

so i played for 6hrs and beat it. i could not put it down. im on my second time through and its still just a great game. if you like god of war for the ps2, you will love it more for the psp
