Great Street Racing Title!

5 Rating: 5, Useful: 1 / 2

NFS:MW is one of the best street racing games on the market. The graphics are mind blowing. It feels like you are actually part of the race. The physics of the game are extremely realistic. The Nitrous and Slo-Mo are excellent features. There are some cons though, as there are in every good game. The gameplay is a little repetitive, as you have the same kind of races in the same places. Also, the racers are not very good. For example, if you pull ahead a Blacklist racer in the beginning, if you are a good racer and don't stop, chances are he won't catch you. Overall, this is an excellent example of how a racing game should be.

This game was great. It was fairly long so it didn't bore me easily. The best part about it was the drag racing which never got boring.

When you are going 140 in this game, you know it! The graphics are so intense that my palms sweat. The gameplay is fun but more like an arcade play, not realism. The races are OK but the computer always seems to win unfairly. I had hoped they would have made that smarter.

I also miss the days of being chased by the cops. The original series had this and it was so fun to have cops coming after you. They seemed to do away with that in favor of blinging out your ride. Gimme a break! Not all fans of the game series are 14 year old wanna bees that wish they could drive a Subaru! LOL

Overall, the game was fun and I will continue to be a fan of these games!

I am not a hard game player so I usually catch up with only the second latest version of most EA games and they are often sold at ~ $10 when I bought them. Not a violent type of person but this game offers quite a change from the conventional racing game--you are trying to hit and total a police car...None to speak of when an army of 10 more cars or SUVs with sirens on and all that chasing after you all the time...Quite a pressure relief after work challenging those 70 "challenge modes". This game runs well on my Athlon x2 3800+ plus an overclocked 7600GS to 500 MHz GPU and 1000 Mhz memory speed. You need to get yourself a widescreen to enjoy car driving games. If you happen to have a computer like this (only cost you <500) don't hesitate to get this game and bring out the live racing out of your screen.

I was playing NFS Carbon on my friends WII and I realised that I had been missing out on racing games, so I went ahead and bought this and carbon along with my logitech momo racing wheel. Great game, good video, pretty decent graphics. Its a lot of fun, with different types of races and scenarios available. The only thing, I didnt like is that it does not support widescreen monitors so I had to find a user-developed patch to accomodate my widescreen monitor. There is a bug where the mouse pointer disappears; however, everything can be accomplished using a keyboard. I am going to beat this game before I start Carbon.

There have been so many different racing games that have either been successful at burning full rubber, or there are ones that haven't turned the right corner. For Electronic Arts, they have definitely delivered with the need for speed. Since the Need For Speed franchise came out back in the mid 90's, it has continued to deliver new gamers of all kinds. The feel of the the constant changes in the series have deliver very well, and still do. Need For Speed: Most Wanted really did deliver very well for the consoles like the Nintendo Gamecube, and especially the recent Xbox 360. Now, the PC has a little speed of its own.

Need For Speed: Most Wanted delivers as fast & furious like its console counterparts. The gameplay is just as fun as well. The object of the game is that you are caught in the web of the most wanted list, and you have to work your way up to the top of the blacklist by challenging through several extreme races like the speedtrap, where your speed is clocked in to the fastest with each leg of the race, and races like the pervious editions such as drag, circuits, and lap knockouts. There is also the challenge of battling with the cops, and trying to master your bounty points.

The game includes some outrageous cars for you to unlock and manuver such as the supercharged Dodge Viper, the Ford GT, and the Chevrolet Cobalt SS sports coupe. The graphics and the gameplay are just deliver in perfectional fashion, and stand out very well. The music also is shown well with each track and feel for the game. There are a couple of disadvantages to the game however. One of them is that you have to have the Windows XP operating system to play this game. Another disadvantage, is that if you've mastered the video game console editions, there is no need to buy the PC edition.

All in all, Need For Speed: Most Wanted is a great buy for any gamer who loves the thrill of the fast & the furious. This is a really great racing title for the PC, and definitely doesn't dissapoint at all. I really love this game a whole lot.

A good game with some drawbacks

This game has been developed by Electronic Arts and is fairly a good game.

This game has been adapted from the movie Too Fast Too Furious. The graphics of this game are excellent and the cars are superb.

In this game you are a street racerwho is looking for fame and has a cool ride i.e. a BMW M3 GTR which is a monster car.But your life takes an unexpected turn when you decide to racer a notorious street called Razor. This guy tricks you and steels your ride while you are thrown into the prison.

The only disadvantages in this game are the system requirements and the lame ending. Firstly to play this game you require a huge ram of 256 mb and a good graphics card and lastly the ending of this game is not good.

But overall its a good game.

Excellent Graphics With an Average Gameplay

First things First, EA has to be commended for the Graphics that are in this game. I have a ATI x600 with 256 MB vram and this game pushed it to the limit and my video card did not even break a sweat for Quake4. Tne system requirements for this game is quite high but most of who play this game will surely have a freaked out machine.
The only thing i hated about this game was the lame ending. There is no big bang when you beat Razor and the story with Mia is left hanging in the air. Some of the Police chases could have been less time consuming but it sure is fun when the White Corvettes join in on the chase.
The handling of the cars is amazing and i believe it could not have been better.
All in All the game is excellent with a weird and lame Ending

Lets Race!

Lots of fun, great cars to race. If you like running from the cops, crashing into roadblocks, and being a menace to society, this is your game. Its challenging (I dive a variety of car games) and maddening sometimes too. I think I'm a pretty good PC driver (47 years old) and it pushes me to really drive my daring best. No violence, sex (other than a belly shirt wearing girl) to speak of, so its ok for kids. Get it!
