My daughter got the Eye Toy for her birthday, and we recently added the Dance Groove game to the collection. She and her friends (10 yrs of age) really enjoy it, as do some of the younger kids. She says her only complaint is that the most difficult skill level is nearly impossible to master, so they improvise... which is pretty easy to do if you stand really close to the camera.
excellent fun for all ages!

If you already have an Eye Toy and your favorite game on it is Beat Freak, then you have to get Eye Toy Groove. The 28 tracks on it cover 40 years of great dance music, from Elvis to Good Charlotte. As a 46 year old woman, I got this as an alternative of boring, repetitive workout tapes, with great success - the game even has a calorie counter built in. This is also a fun game for me to play with my three kids, ages from 8 to 16. Even the preschoolers I occasionally babysit enjoy the special effects in the chill out room, and the lyrics in all the songs are suitable for family listening, which is more than I can say for Dance Dance Revolution.
A Fun And Great Way To Exercise!

When I first bought Eyetoy: Groove the game was very hard to get used to after playing Eyetoy: Play. If you are thinking this is like DDR (dance dance reveloution) it's not because you are not always looking at your feet. The songs on groove are one minute longer than the songs on DDR. But it does take quite a while to load unlike Eyetoy: Play it where it would take ten seconds it takes about 25 seconds. It is also a great way to exercise baecause if you just enter your weight it will tell you about how many calories you have burnt after a session of dancing. The only thing is you are going to have a party you can't have any movement in the background.

Fun once you get used to it. It's very similar to Samba de Amigo from Sega. The single player mode isn't that great(its pretty much just practice for the multiplayer mode) but the multiplayer mode is. The object of the game is to touch the moving smiley faces. Sometimes they roll down the side and u have to follow it sometimes its stationary. Instead of dancing with legs (such as in Dance Dance Revolution) you use your arms. In real life it doesn't look that much like dancing but onscreen, ur a star. Not a good song list. It's a very good game anyway. It is very addictive. If there was an arcade game of it (such as dance dance Revolution) it would probably have the same amount of people shoving $1,000 worth of quarters in it as DDR. The mode where it counts calories is good, too. If ur a girl, you'll love this game. If your a guy and you have an open mind (and not "Its a dancing game and thats too girly") then u will like it, too.
A very good game

This game is a fun way to exersise without going to the gym or sitting on a bike and pedaling no where. It gives your arms an awsome workout mainly because you are swinging them everywhere. However, It can be quiet fusterating because it isnt so easy to select the buttons with your hands. It helps very much so if you point at the button you want to select and with your finger tip trace a circle fast and keep going. Looking at the video and pictures of you playing is all worth it. The songs are awsome, even though there is large varity from pop to "oldies". I'd buy this in a heartbeat. It is better then sitting and playing and the only decent viedo games out there lately are DDR and This. If you are a parent invest in these. It actually gets you going.
Fun - But Needs More Songs

Fun game. You can actually dance to play once you master the game. The only thing I think it needs are more fast/dance songs and more innovative dance moves (although you can create your own dance chart). Otherwise, a fun time, and the price is right. Enjoy.

Don't let the screen name fool you. I'm actually a guy. But, getting that out of the way, I'm really into music, and I have an Eyetoy, so I got Groove. It's atmosphere is extremely feminine, but this is a great game. There are only 23 songs to begin with, and a grand total of 5 to unlock. (Yippie!) However, girls, this is a very good party game, and guys, try it out. You'll feel like a pussy, but you'll have fun doing it. Overall, this is a great rythm game, but it's in the minor leagues when compared to its awesome competitors, like Dance Dance Revolution and Guitar Hero.
EXCELENT

YOU WILL LOVE THIS TOY ,IF YOU WANT YOUR KIDS TO BE ACTIVE AND LET YOU BREATH FOR A WHILE THIS IS IT .IS SO GOOD AND FUN THAT EVEN YOU WANT TO JUMP AND PLAY WITH YOUR KIDS ,THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT YOU KIND OF NEED TO REGULATE THE NATURAL LIGHT THAT GETS INSIDE THE ROOM ,BECAUSE IF IS TO MUCH YOU CAN'T SEE IT ,AND IF ITS TOO DARK YOU CAN'T SEE IT EITHER .
BUT BESIDE THAT IS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great Exercise!

EyeToy Groove is a follow up to the higly sucessful Eyetoy Play. Instead of hitting ninjas or cleaning windows you wave, swipe, hit and pose. It also has a calorie counter that will tell you about how many you have burnt while dancing. If you get an "A" star ranking in hard you will unlock master the level. I found out if you push start on the controller when it shows you how to set up the camera it will skip it. Highly, higly reccomend it!
