This game goes by pretty quick...but in a good way. And you don't have to run around collecting a huge amount of crap just to get a few extra sketches that resemble "bonus material". The only crap there is to collect is stuff to equip that actually benifits you. Also you get to fight with everybody on the team, even in one player. And not only that they're actually useful. They take it upon themselves to collect items and attack people and even bust out a group attack. You can also kick back and sic the team on anybody if your health is lacking and you don't want to risk it. Missions are less tedious, game play is more diverse and less repetive, and your attack options are improved. My only gripe is the free fights where you get to "freely" roam the areas you've already completed are long (because you're covering the combined areas of several different missions) and full of enemies you have to beat and beat again. It'd be easier if you didn't bother with them, and you don't have to, but if you want to collect all your goodies and need credit for new combos and abilities, it's pretty much mandatory.
More suckatude: Bosses are waaaaaay to easy. You pretty much fight shredder three times and each takes very little effort. The more climatic battles with the other main bosses seem to come and go in an instant. Other than that it beats number 2 and since the bar was set so low with the first one of the series, it's easily the better of the three.
BEST ACTION GAME YET!!

Wow!! This game rocks!!! It's the best action game yet! This is a large, long game, with lots of challenges all around the levels! The game takes at least a few months to finish not because the levels are long, but the enemies are HARD!! As a tough and long game, that doesen't mean your not supposed to buy it, your supposed to have it NOW!! This is the first TMNT game I have, but I think the second, cause after you finish episode 1,(There are 3 episodes)you get a bonus game, "TMNT: Turtles in Time" an 80's game based on the classic TMNT series. The enemies are MUCH easier here, and levels are quite short, and you can only play as Leo, but also a good way for you to respect old games. Well, anything from that, a bonus episode after finishing episode 3, the NIGHTMARE episodes, these are the TOUGHEST levels in the game. Here's a list of synopsis for each episode:
EPISODE 1: A group of space fighters, who are humans from Earth, have attacked the Triceratron homeland, and after that, the Triceratrons have planned their revenge, EARTH INVASION! Now, it's up to the Turtles to stop the invasion, but April n' Casey have been captured, and are prisoners at the Triceratron homeland. Now, the Turtles have to save them.
EPISODE 2: A secret agent working for the government, wants a sample of the DNA of one of the Turtles. Now, Bishop, the secret agent, has captured Splinter in a helicopter chase. It's up to the Turtles to save Splinter from the cold hands of Bishop.
EPISODE 3: Shredder is back, and is mixing the DNA of the Foot ninjas with the DNA of the Triceratron's. This is not as easy as a normal Foot ninja, giving the Turtles a challenge. Meanwhile. Shredder is planning a trip in space to destroy the Utrom homeworld. It's up for the Turtles to stop Shredder, and save the Utroms.
Well, that's it for my review. Good night. I gotta sleep. It may be morning there and night here cause I live in the Philippines. Thanks for reading!
What battlenexusus should have been like

I will be honest these three games in this series can be difficult to beat with out cheats like invurability for some players. This game is very fun in general even though boss figts are not as frequent as in pervious installement and certain bosses from the previous game battlenexsus such as the ninja rats and leather head, and the robotic splinters were left out of this one. The game consits of four episodee of 16 to 20 minsion each the first two are on disk and the last two on the second disks. If you put in disk two you don't see mission for called nightmare listed it it means you have completed the acquire ment to unlock this unlockable feature or easter egg. One real cool pay back is the put in the orignal arcade turles in time arcace game in and its a lot unlockwith cheats on this one compared to Ninja Turltes 2 battlenexus. All you have to do is defeat the first 16 missioon episode one on either easy hard or normal difficulty. I recommend you start off on easy for the first time through especially for some of the time Limit levels. This game is a dratic improvemen from battle Nextsus. The arcade game one the previous game which was the ninja turles original arcade game sligtly altered was a lot harder to obtain. You had to go to a specfic stage were you had to defeated the nob, foot clain and purple dragons. But if you did not break up the crate by jumping onto the little balcon slash platform from one of the cars in the ally. You had to do the whole level over again you only have about ten minutes maybe less to take done like 30 of these guys maybe more. Here's a lit bit of background information if your interst if I remember correctly on the cartoon show until shredder was captured and banished after the Tricarton's returned the foot solider were actually called the purple dragons and not the foot I believe but they made them seperate entites in the second game for some reason. Unfortunately one downer is that you do not have the four alternate playable characters in this on of Karia, Splinter, Case Jones and Slashur. However unlike in the first game all four turles are in each level and fight ast once you control on and the other three are run by the nintedo systems AI. You do get to play as one of the Turtles allies good and enormously huge and muscular Triceton Tramaximous briefly in one of the shouting levels which there are alot of. I say in general this game was better than the second installement. The rest of this is opitional if you have lost interest you don't have to read these tips for the unlockable arcade Game. Here are some tips for beating indivual bosses in the arcade game of Turles In Time faster. They may help you beat the whole game in an hour or less and if you use these startiegies and techinuques.
Push the X button in between tranfer to level scenes from one stage to the other or during cuts or when not being attack this will give you one extra addiotonal life each time you press the button X button on your gamecube controller. Since you are given no continues like in the previous sligtly altered arcade game. Since you do not game 1 extra life for every 200 points like was only include in the easier supernintendo version of this. It is the only way to gaing extra free men or extra lives. Some bosses you want to have a decent amount of lives to defeat quicker to lower there defense strength this works on only work on a couple of them. However they are two of stronger boss with even more stamina and defense strength than in the Super nes Version. Here is another tip letterhead or krane after you have destoryed his android bodyg are the weakest bosses in the game with the lowest defense strength you can take them down with less than 30 hits uf you have inbetween 50 and 60 lives remaing if you doged enough and use the briefty temporarilu incivibility you have ever time after you lose a life properly It's get late so I am going to try to speed this up. For Baxter Stock man hit him when in the air or the ground and doge his two gun attacks a word of warning baxter is a lot more endurance than in the Super Nintendio version he metal head and the rat king were the second weakest bosses in the Game. For Metal head the easiest boss in this version next to baxter stockman use similar tricks to what i suggest for the leather head and second boss fight with Krang. (If you curious about stage 3 the rat king was not in the original arcade version instead you just fight a bunch of enlarged pizza monsters. For next boss Cement Man in the dinosaur level attack him at point blank rnage and use the incivbilit cheat slash glitch as well as much as possible when you lose a life. I personal think they should have kept the boss same for the supernintendo version, but they wanted to make this stage as hard a level of contra or something like that.
For the not as experience gammer by subtituting Cement Man with the turtles evil clone Slash. Use simmilar strategies for the pirate level note since this is the arcade version the boss fight is differently this is were you original thought Toka and Razor instead of Bebop and Rockstead since the extra three part technodron stage was not included. Unfortunatley unliker Bebop and Rockstead (in the supernintedo release only)these two boss both do not automatically lose after you beat just one of them. Tooka and Razar also don't have there elemtal powers in this version nor did they in Ninja turle 3 the Manthan project. So some fans of the Superninteo release might be dissapointed. They also can't do there cop attacks except both charge and slap you at the same time. For Krane the first time and the final battle with normal shredder (his mutated form was only include in the supern ness version and the Manhatton project for NES). Krang in his android body and Shreeder defenses status are higher than even that of Baxter Stokaman both will take about 80 to 100 hits or more to defeated. So expect to die alot these two are the ultimate test of your patience. You will either take the time to beat them or geat annoyed and shut of the Game Cube. I hope these suggestion and my opions helped you have a nice night. This Narku Junoir and also once known as Slagar the Cruel over and out!

This game is pretty good. the pros are that you can play as all 4 turtles. You can face Zanramon the Triceraton leader and the Shredder. Overall this game is fairly easy and I reccomend you can buy it.

I played through episode one's missions. The missions were pretty lame. The only reason I played through was to unlock Turtles in Time arcade, which is totaly butchered for some reason. The music and voices seemed to have been replaced from the original arcade game and the graphics look below arcade quality ...what the heck happened? Overall, boring gameplay for me; you have to be a big Turtles fan I guess.
The worst ninja turtles game in recent memory

I didn't really like this game for several reasons. I really didn't care for the overhead view at all. The moves list is pretty short. The games levels aren't very long, but the overall episodes can be very long and this results in very repetitive gameplay, which got boring very fast to me. The boss battles are too easy. The redeeming qualities in this game is the co-op mode. And the cpu assisted co-op mode. When you play the single player game, the other three turtles are helping you. They are very helpful to include. You can just sit back and let them fight when your health is low. When they pick up power ups such as health, everyones life increases. However this doesn't play out the same way with finding shurikens though. Also some of the stages consist of a first person like shooting stages. You have an unlimited amount of shurikens and you have to blast your through the stage. Its alright but nothing too great.
The main reason I bought this game was because Turtles in Time is unlockable. Too bad its not an exact port. The music is different and its just not as fluid as the original at all. This was very disappointing to me. So if your getting it just for that, then prepare for a big letdown.
I'm typing this review off of memory because I sold it within two days after I beat it. If your getting this for your kids, then it would be a really good buy for them. Its just like the cartoon and there's no foul language or blood. If your a fan of the turtles and liked the first games, then you should check it out because you just might like it. Personally, I enjoyed the first one more.
