I am waiting for the pal version in February.Although I am happy to hear super street fighter 2 turbo is difficult I am disappointed super street fighter 2 the new challengers is not included unless of course it is an unlockable feature. This means street fighter fans like myself will have to continue waiting until their PS2 street fighter 2 collection is fully complete.Street fighter 1 is inferior to super street fighter 2 the new challengers. When and if Capcom release this game for PS2 I want it to be arcade perfect like the others and of comparable difficulty.

This is a great collection of games to have in your library. The main reason to buy this is for SF2 Turbo, of course. However, there are several other titles on this disc that are worth playing. I recall playing 1941, Black Tiger, Captain Commando, and King of Dragons. Most of these games are multiplayer.
Therefore, this title is great for kids that would enjoy games that don't require a lot of hardcore skills. In Addition, these games are great when you don't have an hour plus to dedicate to a game. Or, you could buy this title to reminisce the 'golden age' of arcade gaming.
old school is here, but...............

Ho-Hum, I enjoyed vol.1 more. I just wanted this one for the 1st STREET FIGHTER. Even though it's fairly pathetic in terms of graphics & gameplay compared to any of the SF2 series. I just don't understand why capcom didn't just put SF1 in SF: Anniversary collection as an unlockable. But anyway all the other games were pretty good to see and play again, at least there's a lot of 'em and thats always a good thing.

I BOUGHT THIS TITLE BECAUSE OF THE GAMES I REMEMBER AS A KID AND THOUGHT I WOULD ENJOY THEM NOW AS AN ADULT GAMER, BUT THAT IS NOT TRUE.FROM THE WAY THE NINTENDO CONTROLLED THEM AND HOW THAT IS DONE IS A BIT DUMBED DOWN. YOU DONT HAVE TO WORK HARD TO GET MORE LIVES OR SAVE POINTS YOU CAN DIE RUN OUT OF MEN AND NOT HAVE TO START FRESH FROM THE BEGINING YOU JUST RESTART FROM THE POINT OF DEMISE, AND SINCE I AM PLAYING ON A PS3 IT IS REALLY SMARTER THAN THE GAMES. KEEP THE MEMORIES OF WHEN YOU PLAYED IN YOUR YOUTH BECAUSE ITS NOT THE SAME EXPERIANCE NOW...
Not as good as the first volume, but there's still some great games here

Capcom Classics Collection Volume 2 follows up the excellent first volume of retro games, and while the results aren't as great as the games in the first volume, there are still some great old games here to play. First off noting, we finally get perfect ports of Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo and Strider; both of which are still a blast to play even to this day, and are worth the price of admission alone. A few other games, including 1941, Captain Commando, Three Wonders, Side Arms, Block Block, and Mega Twins are all solid as well. The original Street Fighter is here too, and it's still as frustrating as you remember it, but to me it seems a bit jumpy and the controls are a little clunky to boot. A few other games, including Avengers, Quiz & Dragons, and Speed Rumbler, weren't anything to write home about them, and they still aren't now. While this is a solid package overall, there's a few glaring omissions that you'd think Capcom would've packed in here. Still no Darkstalkers, and even an underrated and overlooked game like Red Earth would've been welcome here. Oh well, maybe there'll be another Capcom Classics volume down the line. And if it's half as good as Volume's 1 and 2, it'll be more than welcome.
Street FIghter 2 Turbo alone makes this purchase well worth it

There has never been an arcade perfect port of any Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo edition on a console until now, most hardcore players have been waiting over 10 years for this. The sounds and music may have some defects, but the gameplay is indeed truly arcade perfect and a must have for ST players. Aside from that, there is a decent quiz game Quiz and Dragons, I heard it was updated with new questions by Sirlin. Overall, its a great value considering that you get many games for a low price.
