I got this game for my kids, can't even believe I bought it used for $3. it's so stupid, and even my kids don't like it!!
you have to capture yellow colored fish (don't touch the green ones, they'll kill you) by the time the sea monkeys swim to a shell-base.
there are difficulty levels, but even turning the level up, doesn't help the game.
this game might be a good way to TEACH a child how to play a video game for the first time
Not What I expected

This game is not what I expected. It said you could raise Sea Monkeys but that is not the case. You do raise Sea Monkeys but the only thing you do is protect them. Not cool. Not what it said on the review. Don't waste your $.
At last! The Sea-Monkeys that you were promised on the box!

As a kid, I was captivated by the fanciful depiction of these seemingly sentient aquatic primates. What power I would have, I thought. Directing their emerging culture, and being viewed by them as a sort of "God".
Ah! The joys of youthful imagination. Well the truth was much less satisfying, of course. Artemia Salina Nyos (the latin of their name) while in fact being real, were not sentient, but were in fact, brine shrimp. Granted a hybrid developed at the New York Ocianic Society that lives much longer than any natural breed, but shrimp all the same. They did not build castles, or domesticate sting-rays for their riding pleasure. They did not group in cute families. They were a far cry from the captivating, and nearly magical, art on the box.
But take heart, all that has changed! Now, the Sea-Monkeys you were promised on that box so many years ago, are YOURS!
....and yes.....you are their God! Mwahahahahahahaha
