Fun...Sometimes

It's not that this game is bad, it's just too hard. The levels consist of timed events e.g. flip a switch and run to the other end of the level before a door closes.

The graphics are good as is the music. The story is non-existent though. Something about aliens, and it includes one of the worst and shortest endings in all of Video Game history.

It's fun yet frustrating.

This game is awesome! it's pretty cool, and..well it's hard, and you have to think a lot, but that's good..because most of video games are kill and nothing else, i just finished it, and i'l impressed, awesome video game!

Tomb Raider 3 was by far the most difficult Tomb Raider I have ever played. I'll admit, I used every cheat in the book in order to beat the game. But can you really blame me?

The game first starts off with an incredibly difficult jungle level, in which you have the option of finding a few secrets and then beginning the level, but regardless, you'll be jumping to a slope and then jumping over a set of spikes, and then (surprise!) jumping over another set of spikes, and finally landing at the bottom with a save crystal and a bunch of different directions to go. Don't go into the sinking sand and watch out for anything that looks dangerous because chances are, it'll be the last dangerous think you look at.

Finally, after a period of a week to a year, you've finally beat the jungle levels... WITHOUT CHEATS! Well I bet you were quite tempted! Now choose your destination. The strategy guides all tell you to go to the Nevada Desert, and then to the South Pacific, and then London. If you watch the entire "Story So far..." feature, you'll notice that the game plays the scenes with South Pacific first and Nevada Desert last. So nobody cares what order you do it in, it doesn't matter much. And believe me; you WILL get frustrated either way, so go to the one you want to go to first because it will take you FOREVER to finish that section of levels.

Finally, after God-knows-how-long, you finished the whole globe, and get this; you did it ALL WITHOUT CHEAT CODES! I congratulate you. NOW WE GET TO GO TO ANTARTICA!!!

Yippee.

Antarctica is incredibly difficult, and it ends with a big, mumbo-jumbo mother-of-all-spiders human-headed thing. Oh, and one shot with the rocket launcher just won't kill it! And one thing to keep on mind, one-hit K.O. As in, if it hits you once, it will kill you. Good luck!

But in spite of all of that, I really enjoyed seeing Lara in new costumes and playing in her new house. It was a lot of fun to get the racetrack key and find the shortcut at the racetrack. I must say, I really did enjoy Tomb Raider 3.

If you like challenges, then Tomb Raider 3 is definitely for you. And regardless, the Mansion is definitely worth the 5 dollars that Tomb Raider 3 now cost at Game Crazy. But, if you're anything like me and do not enjoy getting so frustrated over a horribly pixilated British woman in a jungle tomb, then get ready to memorize "L2, R2, L2(2), R2, L2, R2, L2, R2, L2(4), R2, L2, R2(4), L2" if you want to beat this game!

This game is challenging, fun, and makes you think.

The game Tomb Raider III is the third game in the Tomb Raider series. Comparing it to Tomb Raider II, I think the third game is much better for many reasons. 1. The graphics are way better. 2. The sounds are much more enhanced than the other game. 3. You get a better variety of weapons and more moves.

The game isn't as easy as pie, but it's not the hardest game in the world. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes action/adventure games and challenging games. Although you can buy the strategy guide for the game, it doesn't take the fun away, so go ahead and get it. You'll probably need it. Overall, I give this game my best review.

The game is way too hard and there are too many puzzles.

The game's graphics are really nice, but the gameplay is totally boring, you have to go back and forth through rooms pulling levers and finding open doors. It just isn't worth it.

violent fun

i thought this game was so cool!the other ones ,well they were coo too but this game is better. you can play as laura in the cambodian jungle or you can go to her "humble abode" in england. it is really cool cuz you can do the assalt course and try to set a record on how fst you can do it,you can take a refreshing dip in the pool, and my personal favorite killing the butler.well actually you cant really kill him, but you can shoot him down and it is really fun cuz he doesnt do [anything] about it!all he does is get right back up and follow you! i like to lock him inj the meat freezer and see how long he will last without bumping in the door!!uh lets leave the violent plans iam going to unleash on the old pruneand get down to the jungle. i am just gonna give you a few tips, never shoot the monkeys once and leave them alone cuz they will come after you and start to take chunks of your health away!

dont get me wrong i love the first two tomb raider games and was eager for this one to come out. I got it when it first came out. I played the first level and was bored out of my mind. I got pretty far in it but my intrest was lost in it. It just doesnt have that thing that makes you want to continue on to the next level like on the firts two games. There is one thing i liked about this game and it was laras improved house. There is a secret key that you can find that unlocks a race course that has a four wheeler. I have to admit that was pretty cool. But all in all i was very disapointed in the game. Take my advise DONT BUY THIS GAME. If you really want to see here new house just rent it or something.

tr3 isn't difficult..u get nowhere in this game for hrs at a time + that isn't challenging. TR + TR2 were just hard enuff this one is too frustrating. worst part is making jumps w/o knowing if you'll make em. just jump for it + hope u make it. if not let game take 5 minutes 2 reload where u just were + that's assuming u were able 2 save it where u just were. if not spend 30 mins getting back 2 where u were + then try the same jump again only 2 die again. reload again! game should let u save anywhere. the computer ones do, why should the lack of saves available dictate how difficult a game is? who wants to play FF8 all the way thru w/o saving, or saving only after u complete a CD? the GFX in tr3 are good. play control is ok. lara is still difficult 2 control at times. this game shouldn't be 5 stars or 4. it lost 1/2 star for the savegame nonsense + 1/2 star for play control.

I don't know why some people think that this game is bad. I like it because the graphics are improved some and the weapons are better and there are more of them. My favorite is the Desert Eagle. The game is basically the same as the other two (now three), but there are different weapons and places. This is a fun game and is pretty challenging, but if you like the Tomb Raider series, you'll love this game!
