We bought this game so our five year old daughter would have her own game for the Wii. Boy, do I wish we'd gone with the Barbie one instead. The graphics on this are horrible. She did finally figure out how to play it some by herself, but it is tricky, even the big people couldn't figure out the right moves for some of it. It was really disappointing.

My four year old daughter loved this game, but frankly it was a lot harder in some areas than it should be. The instructions were not that great, and in some situations there is no way the child could figure out how to get task solved. The graphics and sound are very good in the game

We just bought this game for our almost 5 year old daughter and she really likes it. It took some practice to get use to using the wii remote but now that she's got it figured out she loves the game. She's been able to play on the easy, medium and hard levels with little to no assistance from us. I'm very happy with this purchase. The graphics are well done and it's really a great game for her age range.

This game was actually a gift for my lil sister. She said that she loved the game and beat it so I'm just going off her word. =P
Too short - otherwise good gameplay

We received this game as a Christmas gift for my 5 year old. She loves Disney Princesses and we had just bought our Wii, so this is one of the first games she played on it. Together, we finished the game in roughly four 30 - 40 minute game sessions. One bonus level that is over in five minutes is available after the game is won. The Wiimote controls for waving the wand were great, but the game creators could have done much more with the unique aspects of the Wii controller. Overall, a very well done game that looks good and smaller girls (I would have trouble recommending to girls younger than 5 and older than 7) can play easily. But, the major problem was its brevity and almost zero replay value. Would not purchase if it were over 20 dollars.

My wife purchased this game for our daughter's birthday in January. She picked it up on a whim and I *almost* took it back due to spotty reviews and the repeated mention of of short the game is. Well... the game was *very* short for us as it is completely broken.
The game becomes unplayable anytime there is a point in the game where you need to use the wiimote as a pointer. This makes the game basically impossible to play at certain points.
When you use the wiimote to point at the screen the cursor jumps and flickers and is impossible to control. This makes mini-games like the Sebastian/Octopus one COMPLETELY UNPLAYABLE. In fact it is seemingly impossible to get out of the mini-game. It's only the pointing part that is broken as the 'Wand' use of the wiimote is perfect.
My daughter was upset she couldn't play the game - but I told her I would take it back and get her another (less buggy) one but of course the local ---mart where we bought it wouldn't take it back 'Because of copyright laws'. This is absurd... how could you know a game is hopelessly buggy without opening it?
I am going to be contacting Disney Interactive and a higher level of Customer Service in an effort to get a refund for this frustratingly broken game.
It's sad Disney let such a buggy product get into the hands of the public and infuriating that you can be told 'Sorry you bought a buggy product but you're stuck with it'.
The game had lots of promise and the voice work and graphics were nice enough to wow my girl... too bad the controls render the rest of the game useless.
I rated the game's fun factor a 1 because we never will know if it's much fun ... and the overall as 1 because it has a game-breaking bug.
Great for Little Ones.... Except for the Bugs!

My 4 year old loves this game, but it's got some serios problems that My 4 year old loves this game, but it's got some serious problems that prevent her from being able to play it without assistance. The most notably is the fact that if you have to use the Wii remote as a pointer it only works well if you are VERY close (with in 4 ft) of the sensor bar.
This is not the case with any other Wii game that we have. This "bug" requires an adult to complete various tasks simply because the game's pointer is so finicky.
Good game for young girls, overpriced for what you get

The game is a lot of fun for our four year old daughter.
Pros:
-The graphics are pretty good
-The voices are good
-Young girls will like the interaction the games provides
Cons:
-The game has problems with the Wii remote reading the infrared on the parts when you have to point at the screen
-The worlds of the game are very small, Disney should have given us a lot more for $40
Cute Game, But Too Easy to Solve

We received this game for Christmas for my 3-1/2 year old daughter. She loved the princesses and waving the magic wand. She is still too young to play the games by herself so we assist her. With our help, she finished this game in just a few short sessions. I felt that the game was too easy and completed in too little time. I think our total play time was less than 3 hours. Maybe a child without adult help would take more time to complete the game. I hope that my daughter will still have some interest in the game when she is older and can play by herself.

This is like a souped up version of game boy game. But the challenges seems to change, which is good. And the images are good.
