High Score Challenge

5 Rating: 5, Useful: 0 / 1

This game is so much fun for people of all ages. You can play alone or with a crowd. Skee ball and basketball (arcade style) are the most fun and the challenge of getting a new high score keeps everyone going! A must have for anyone with a Nintendo Wii

Lots of family fun!

Definitely not as physical as Wii Sports but nevertheless lots of fun time with family members playing the different games. Would have given it 5 stars if you could import your own Mii as opposed to having to select an already made "weird" character from their cast.

I bought it for the Skee Ball but It's harder than I thought it would be. Maybe a little more practice would help. Still fun.

Fun at first, gets boring after awhile

Most of the games are really fun, like the tanks and the laser board; after awhile of playing this game, it losses its appeal. Im sure for kids it is a great game and a great way for them to learn how to use the wii control, but for adults not as fun.

Limited, but really great.

The music and atmosphere is like a British/Irish pub. Play a variety of dart games that are very real including Cricket, 301, and 501. Play miniature shuffle board (the kind without the side bumpers) with realistic changes due to sand ruts :) Also, have tons of fun playing bar-room hoopss - pick a basketball and then throw-throw-throw. This is really great fun and not like any other game that I've played.

Very good game except you have to keep setting it up only after 3 turns at a game. Other than that very happy

Get it for the darts

My wife and I (and any visitors) play darts on this for hours. If you shoot consistent, the game plays well. On the downside, most shots are followed by asinine shots of the patrons applauding or moaning. The shooters make faces and generally show bad sportsmanship. I'd rather just play the game than deal with that silly nonsense. We like the hoops game a lot but it is single-player only. Shuffleboard is quite well done and the histrionics of the players after each shot are not nearly so annoying as in darts. There is a game where you bounce a ball into a glass. It gives dull a new meaning. There is also a trivia game which is basically pretty dull. The air hockey game is okay...the one in the Wii Play is better if you have it.

Fun but a little disappointing

I really enjoy the array of games available through Game Party for Wii. Unfortunately the controls really take some getting used to. Still struggling with basketball and the darts don't always respond the same way even if thrown the same way - usually on the release. I can appreciate the unlock feature for new characters but I have to say that I'm a alittle disappointed that I'm not using my Mii. Unlock other Wii games even when I'm playing with my Mii the other Miis on our system show up in the game either at another bowling lane, jogging by, coaching for soccer, etc. The kids love "seeing" me or grandma and other relatives in the game while they're playing. All in all, the game provides a lot of entertainment. Just some personal issues that I have with it. It's definitely worth the $20 which cheaper than most Wii games.

Fun & relaxing party game

This is a great collection of simple, relaxing, turn based games that are a lot of fun to play with friends or family. Not all of the games are great, but the ones that are make it worthwhile (darts, shuffleboard, trivia). Over time, you unlock new features and characters that add to the fun. It's definitely worth $18-$20 (half of what many other Wii games cost). It's not for everyone, though. If you're looking for a fast-paced, intense gaming experience then you will be disappointed. Game Party is very casual and best played with others.

Game Party definitely grows on you over time. To be honest, I wasn't very impressed with it the first few times I played. However, there is a lot of depth that becomes apparent after you play (and explore) a bit. All things considered, I like it more than Carnival Games (at half the price).

Here's the deal, this game is only $20. Buy it! Have some beers & play the dart game with your friends. Totally worth it! Adults and kids will have a good time.
