Whether you are playing this game or watching it being played, you are going to have fun. From my 3 yr old granddaughter to my 35 yr old son, everyone had a great time singing and dancing along.
Fun game, great concept, mediocre execution...

It is a hoot to play, and watch your spouse/friends make fools of themselves, and my kids enjoy it with songs geared toward their age group, too. It has a nice mix of generational songs back into the 1970s, but not enough of any one thing. The dancing portion of the "game" is a little weak, but I bought it for the karaoke feature (and the bundled mic). Hopefully there will be add-ons for extra songs, and more, better, forthcoming family-friendly karaoke/dance games for the Wii.
Not that great...

This game isn't that great. The variety of songs are good but have changed lyrics probably because of copyright laws. We beat the game in 2 days. You can't sing duet which definitely sucks! It should have a dance mat component to the game too to make it a little better. O well.

Not as good as Gamecube Karaoke Revolution

When we got our Wii, we also got the Gamecube version of Karaoke Revolution. We like Karaoke Revolution because of the mix of karaoke and the use of the dance mat. Boogie, however, does not use the dance mat. It uses the Wiimote and nunchuk to make the characters dance, which can become very boring and repetitive. In the story mode, you must meet certain score requirements in order to unlock the next level. For the dancing portions, this can actually be quite challenging, especially because the Wiimote doesn't always seem to respond appropriately. As far as Karaoke goes, it does have some more recent songs than Karaoke Revolution, but the Karaoke format is poor. In Karaoke Revolution, the words are directly under the bars that tell you whether you're on pitch or not. In Boogie, the words are at the bottom of the screen, while the pitch bars are in the middle. This makes it difficult to look at both at the same time, as well as to discern when you should be singing each word. If you are looking for a Karaoke game for your Wii, us the backward compatability function and go for Gamecube Karaoke Revolution instead.
Not the best and not worth the money.

It's O.K. but can get boring pretty quick if u know what I mean. It's really
made for multi player and the karaoke is a gyp. U don't even need to speak the words as long as u manage to make an audible mumble thats loud enough for the game.
Could be improved

There were lots of issues with this game. Half the songs didn't play or were locked. It was also not intuitive and difficult to use.
Ok but a little complicated

Hi, this game is ok. This is my first time with a singing type game. The words are changed on some of the songs which is annoying and all the actions (dancing and singing with the wii mote and the microphone) is too much for me.
Awesome Songs!

This game rocks! I should know! I'm a boogie freak! I've got smooth moves and psychedelic grooves. I be da' funk `dat ya smell. This game keeps the par-tay rockin' all night long. It will definitely set the mood for a groovin' good time.
See, it's so easy to get into character. Seriously, it's a really fun game that's easy to learn and fun for the whole family.
