This game is extremely frustrating. You have to repeat tasks over and over again. On the good side, you have an unlimited numer of lives...

This is a bad buy. The idea was great but it came out horrible. The graphics ... and the gameplay isn't that fun.

This game was a very hard one for my brother and myself to play. The storyline goes along perfectly with the movie. The graphics are great, but the sound seems a little rushed. This game is a very good game to play, and if you have seen the movie, it makes it better.
Great kids' game

I don't know what those people up there who gave this game one star were talking about. What would you expect? This game is geared towards kids but it's very playable for anyone else who isn't into the blood n guts killing fighting racing type of games. I play alot of those games but this was even challenging for me, but yet my little brother can play it too. It's got awesome graphics and sounds great. Anyone who liked the movie will absolutely love this game.

this game could have been epic except for the graphics and sound...it is an equivelent of a gameboy game. If you have a little kid I guess it could be enjoyable otherwise its a dud
"Chicken Run" for the Dreamcast console is no "turkey."

In Eidos' new Chicken Run game based on the film it's your feathers that will be in the fryer if you're not careful. I have heard this game called Chicken Gear Solid, and the comparison is pretty true (except MG Solid was definitely NOT a child's game! When it comes to espionage these chickens aren't so chicken! Chicken Run is an enjoyable adventure game. You guide Ginger (and eventually Rocky Rhodes the Rhode Island Red Rooster Wonder Chicken) around on the farm collecting up implements to build wacky contraptions that may help the flock escape. Sneaking into buildings and around the farm is a constant challenge, with monstrous patrol dogs and searchlights swooping all over the grounds. The chickens will have to stay out of the light and avoid stepping on things that might make a noise and attract attention. I found the camera to be a bit of a problem, though. It is sometimes user-controlled, and other times completely automatic! The chicken and enemy characters are so big and the screen is zoomed in so much that it's tough to see what's up ahead. Which can be very annoying if your fat is in the fryer! Another nice thing about this game is that there is plenty of replay value. The world is packed with tools to interact with, constantly creating new puzzles to solve. Each mission is graded and can be repeated for better scores. The graphics are pretty cool, because the characters look just like the movie characters, and the atmosphere and detail work of the game is also a lot like the movie. However, I also got the feeling that Chicken Run was rushed for Christmas without being quite done. The audio is really sloppy, with missing or muted effects for things that are very important. The limited sound here was a drag, but the voice work was of good quality -- sound-alikes from the movie actors were used. All told, the gameplay of Chicken Run is innovative and exciting to play. It also is a really good, fun game for kids. I recommend it.
