A bit Glitchy, but still fun!

I've been playing the Harvest Moon series for quite a while now. Everytime a new one comes out I just have to have it. It's fun and addictive. Though this one is a bit glitchy at times, ie: game freezes. I still think its a good buy. When you hook up Friends of Mineral Town or More Friends of Mineral Town into the GBA slot while you play Harvest Moon DS, the towns people from Mineral Town will come to visit you on your days off! The sad part however is that a tombstone appears near a construction site with the character you was playing on the GBA game...they killed you off! Hehe..
All in all another great Harvest Moon game.

Glitches in Forget-Me-Not Valley

This game is fun, but sometimes it freezes when you least expect it. It is extremely hard to get married. You have to buy all of your barns and coops even when the bad weather destroys them. Finding all 101 harvest sprites is very hard, but isn't that the point of the game?
You can buy cute furniture for your house and upgrade it. You can have a cat, a dog, and a horse for free! The valley is really pretty. Most girls would think that being a guy is lame, but look at the bright side! If you didn't like what you looked like, you'd still be stuck with it, but being a guy you can "marry" all these pretty girls and that makes up for it big time.

This is the worst Harvest Moon game ever! I am a huge Harvest Moon fan, and I have played avery single Harvest Moon game ever made, but this is definintly the worst! The game will suddenly stop, and you can't do anything but turn the power off, so your game is not saved, and you have to start out where you last saved! It is so annoying! Plus, another glitch is that if you have anough wood and gold to expand your house, the wood chopper dude still says you don't have enough! Plus caring for your animals with the stylus gets really annoying after a while, and really messes up your screen from all the rubbing. Do not buy this game! I would suggest Harvest Moon Magical Melody.

an over all awesome and addicting game. I love how you use the stylus for many things. I think the glithches are over exatturated. So far I haven't experienced any. over all it is one of the most addicting games I have played. Nice job natsume =}

A Few Minor Glitches Shouldn't Stop People From Buying This Game

I absolutly love all the games in the Harvest Moon series and this one is no exception. Its one of my favorite games and is so addictive I play it all the time.

People have been saying don't buy this game because of all the glitches in the game. Yes some games may have a few glitches but its not as bad as everyone says it is. My game has frozen probably twice (three times max) but it was only when my character would go to bed and I always saved before he went to sleep. That was monthes and monthes ago and no problems have popped up since then. The freezing doesn't make any progress loss since the last save point so just save every so often and it shouldn't be a problem.

I really love the graphics and it makes a lot of the characters quite cute in my opinion. And its not really hard to save up for a lot of the expensive items or upgrades, it just requires mining and selling the items.

The only problem really is that some people cannot marry the Witch. The US version does not count how many animals have died (you must kill 50 to marry her)so the Witch is suppose to be the only girl you cannot marry. The others aren't that hard to court (besides the other three special girls but they don't have any problems like the Witch).

All in all, no matter what people say, this game was definitly worth the money. Its so fun, I would have payed even more for it! The glitches aren't as bad as everyone makes them out to be and it never stops being fun. In fact, I'm thinking of buying a second one so I can marry four different candidates.

I Love Love Love this game! I have tried to play it several times, but have never gotten farther than the second year because of the game freeze! I save in both slots, only reload mid-game when absolutely necessary, but it doesn't help. I even sent my cartridge back to the company and got a new one, and it still froze. It is so depressing to have so much going... a pregnant wife, almost enough money to build a new basement, rescuing over half the sprites, crops that you've leveled up, animals that you've worked hard on and are hoping will win the festivals... and then all of the sudden it's all gone. I can't start over again. I'm waiting for the new Wii version!!

This game is so much fun.. and it has an INCREDIBLE amount of things to do in it. It seems like they took the best parts of FoMT and AWL to make this game. It gets four starts because of the large amount of glitches.. some of which are game-breaking.

After all the delays, you'd think they would have been fixed. Hopefully the 'for girls' version will fix them.

I've always liked Harvest Moon games and this one is a great addition. I like how they have incoporated the touch screen and like I've already stated about this game is quite addicitve just like all of the others

I absolutely LOVED this game- but I had the same results as others. It froze frequently, and FOUR times it froze in both diaries, meaning I had to start all over. After the last time, I finally gave up- too frustrating. I hope they come out with a new version that doesn't have all the glitches. I would definitely buy it again (updated version) because it was so much fun.

Well, this game is a lot fun. But the thing is, it has glitches! When it froze for me, I lost all my progress, and I kept trying, but it kept freezing! When you play, you could be playing for a whole hour and it wouldn't have froze yet, and you'll be all happy thinking that you got a lucky copy. Not true. Don't take a chance. The freezing is totally random. So, if you don't mind losing all your progress and frustration all the time, this is the game for you! If you buy it, remember, glitches or fun!
