ok i dont no how to explain it but this game is grrrrrrrrrrreat when you beat the game(about 10-15 great levels)thars a bonus level the password to the bonus level is "WRDRB"AGIAN THE PASSWORD IS WRDRB. you can play differnt tank games on thar without like levels and on all the games u can play up to 4 players some of the other games on thar are like capture the flag and convoy. i just got to say its a great game. its only rated "T" for teen because you use cannons and you shoot other tanks.its a great game!C YA!

This game has got to be the stupidest game ever, all you do is blow stuff up. OHH really fun I can do this for hours. Oh ya I forgot I can also save prisoners as well. what a joke Oh ya if your running low on health just go 2 feet or something and youll find 50 million health packs that will last you a lifetime. Just do whatever you can to stay away from this game.

A very good game
the tanks are great.
Goilath Tank(huge shells),Hornet Tank(two rockets at Once and they can turn corners when you press C-left C-right[one of my favorite Tanks),Marksman Tank Like the M1A1 but uses lasers instead of shells(pretty good one of my second or third favorites),Hover Tank(can go over land mines floats over the ground like a space ship pretty fast),Rhino Tank(the most armored tank of all hard to destory in front weak in back a good tank to use against him is the flame Thrower tank unless you can get behind him with one of the other tanks),Flame Thrower Tank(shoots flames in front[limited range] and left or right when you press C-left C-right he's threat to every tank he's one of my favorites),M1A1 an average tank with average destuction a threat to Flp-e,Moto Tank and Rattler,Flp-e can twirl when you press C-left C-right(haven't i sead that enough LOL),Moto Tank(the fastest tank two machine guns fire at once EXTREAMLY! weak armour so whatch it),Rattler Tank He is my FAVORITEST! the bigger
version of the(Moto Tank)he lasts more longer in battle but weak armour but a vicious 30mm Gatling Gun causes a lot of damage.

Weapon Pick Ups
Nukeclear Bomb:the powerfullest weapon of all destroys everything including you! destruction is off the bounderies.

The Edge:a 380 degree wave that comes from your tank if tanks get close they spin in circles untill you destory them or it turns them on your side(only available in 1 player mode).

Plasma Bolts:bounce off walls 3 come out at once hits other tanks including yours!.

Bouncing Betties:You lay them down like land mines but launch up
in the air and fire laser in all Directions can hurt your tank to.

Land Mines:lay them down and if you go over them you get damaged only problem is that you can see these but of coures if your playing with another player if it's the computer he'l go over them anyway.

Guided Missles:you can drive them with you joy stick up or down left or right even after your tank is destroyed just ram them into the enemy.

Lasers:shoots semi-automatic lasers.

Grenades:they can be thrown over walls or you throw them on land mines.

Teleports:teleports your tank ramdomly anywhere in the game.

Health:regains your health

Star:gives you a little bit of ammunition and health can be found when you destroy a tank.

Ammunition Box:gives you ammunition for you primary weapon.

Champ Eisleys

Brandon Burg Gate
Sanfransisco
German Railyard
and other places like that.

Modes:1 player Campaigh mode,2 player Campaigh,Tanks Wars,QueenLord,Hold Em,and Convoy.

Special Tanks:X11 Anihilantor Tank big as the goliath with more guns on the sides YOU DON'T GET HIM you need a game shark or if you have playstation(playstation 1 not 2)then you can just enter the code 'NSTYGRL'to get it.,Hydra Tank shoots rapidly to shells
simoteaniously if you press the Z button really fast you get him in Multi-Player only.

Cheat Codes:bum! bum! bum! enter these codes in the code menu.

battle tanx is probably one of the best games to come, besides perfect dark, smash bros,or mario kart.
It is basicly best played in multi. player mode, going to different places like london, or texas.In this you could use over 11 tanx for your destruction, and are able to go underground, on sealevel land, or as a boat in the water(cheatcode only)
The story board in 1/2 player mode is good(meaning that you could have a friend play too)

Grahpics:9 pretty good(considering what you can get on a 64)

Sound:9 gives a lot of it, but could have more detail to some of it, instead of the same sound when you hit the wall with a different tank

Gameplay:9 just play the game and you will see

Fun: 1player:6 1/2 2player:8 3player:9 4player:10
OVERALL:9.25

Battletanx is a great game.....u have these tanks that r eather fast but little fire power, slow and large power. or barely moving to unbeatable power. this game has a great adventure mode....i used cheats after i beat it a couple of times like the all weapons cheat. with that cheat you can set up unlitimted gun buddies to blow evry1 up to reallly help you... or do the job for you. Battletanx has great 2d graphics and a great camera view. You can light other tanx on fire with a flamethrower tank...or u can use the goliath for running over the little fast tanx. you can use the little fast tanx as a camoflauge while u r in a tight spot and u can make a mine wall that r outside of the shed where the tanx come out of so u blow them up ammidiatly. This is a non-stop fun game and i will never let go of it. N64 is a great system which should not be stopped selling games.

this game is the worst game that I have ever played.

I rented this game from blockbuster and hated it. I played it for about three minutes then turned it off. The graphics are pukey, the controls are pukey, the sound is pukey, and everything around it is pukey. Don't rent it, don't buy it. Thank You.

If your kids are gamers and you want to find a game that you can play together check this one out. It's easy - no complicated button pushing sequences - just point and shoot! It's fun, you drive around in tanks, blow up enemy vehicles and rescue people. No graphic violence - in fact I would call it rather tame compared to many of the games out there. Video games are here to stay so if you want to spend some time with your kids in "their" world - try this game.

Buy this game. Period.

The date of the production of this review is 19 Aug 2002, which means that i'm up-to-date on newer systems, like the PS2. However, I wanted to buy an N64 from my friend for a few games, and this game was one of them. It's fun for those of you who don't have multitaps or are sick of the multiplayer games on other systems. It's fun to play on single player as well, so if you have your old N64, or are gonna buy one for kicks, and need something entertaining to do after school (and like destroying things and whooping your pals) then I'd recommend this game.

I thought the game was fun with it's awesome graphics, weapons, and tanks. My favorite tank is the Goliath. No,I don't have the game yet, I'm just borrowing it from my cousin but I'll be getting it soon. Battletanx is great with levels and is a good for an after homework game. This is my review.
