This game is pretty good. I have never played any other Unreal Tournament games before this and don't even know if there are any, but I really like playing this game. It's very bloody and little kids definitely shouldn't play it but if old enough, it can be very entertaining. If you like shoot 'em up games, this is a good one to get, that's for sure.

Wondering which one to get? I've got both and UT is better... More maps, better AI, more guns, less cartoonish than Quake 3.

Next to Bungie's Marathon series of games, this has to be the best I've played in the shooter genre. The grahics on a Mac are very good....better than the PC demo I saw running a local computer store. The contol learning curve is simple and you can configure your keyboard most any way you want. I wouldn't play UT without a mouse. The only down side to this game is not much documentation to help you setup the network games feature. You definately don't want to play this game alone. It's more fun hunting friends and family!

I just got this game, and frankly I think its pretty darn good. Fun single player, great multiplayer! Best of all, it needs NO 3D HARDWARE. However, I found 2 flaws with this game:
1. Its a serious memory hog
2. Where is Tactical Ops? Its one of the main reasons I bought this game, and this feature seems to be nonexistent! I looked into this, and Tactical Ops is only in the beta 2 phase! Don't buy this game for Tactical Ops. I would give this game 5 stars were it not for this dissappointing empty promise......

I got this game for my new 867mHz G4 and it totally rules.
Best graphics and smoothest motion I've ever seen. Looks and plays beautifuly on large monitors. Online Multi-Player is awesome!

UT is the best video game for the Mac. The ability to download maps online gives you the ability to expand this game endlessly. It just never gets old.

This has to be one of the most addictive games I have ever played. With such a large UT community, and so many free expansions for the game available over the Net, there's just no reason that this game won't keep on reeling you in again and again.
The Game Of The Year Edition is awesome! The ChaosUT Modification really gives the game a bit of an extra punch, especially when you're playing against your friends!
WORTH EVERY CENT!
