Sony has Started actual darn support on this game. After the Summit meeting Khama has talked to Smedley and they hope to fix all of the bugs as time goes on. With Sound and Planar Access being the most important. However this will take anywhere from weeks to 4 months because they need to hire people who know something of Macs. Some bugs will be fixed quickly though. and A test server will be attached. The game will be Up to date as far as PoP and will actually be a worthwhile game to play. PIck it up. Join the community at EQmac.com and have some fun!

Everquest guarantees hours of addictive entertainment and an extremely loyal fan base, and there is no reason to believe this will be any different for Mac users. The one question I have is that on the Sony website, it states that that Mac version will originally come out with expansions up to the Shadows of Luclin, not Planes of Powers. That is significant, insofar as Planes of Power allows the new player to travel around Norrath much more quickly. I guess we will have to wait on this one...
A perfect mix

Everquest is the game that Mac role-playing fans have been waiting for. Think Diablo improved. In Everquest choose from 1 of 14 races and 1 of 15 classes. Travel alone or in groups through new fantasy worlds fufilling multitudes of quests and burying your enemies in Everquest.
There is a reason they call it Evercrack

This is the most addicting game I've ever played, and with the recent confirmation that the expansion Planes of Power will be included with the launch product it will be even better than originally expected.
Excellent game, but only starting beta (12 March 2003)

I play EQ for the PC, and it is the best game ever made. I recently switched to a Mac, and I don't think EQ will be out for some time. I just singed up for the beta test today (12 March 2003). It's worth the wait though.

I can't wate for this game to come out! I have played it before at my buddies house, and man is it ever addctive. Think of Lord of the Rings only video game style, and you can go anywhere and do anything! ... it says that all expansions up to Planes of Power come with EverQuest mac, but the official site says that EverQuest mac does NOT come with Planes of Power.
Funny....look at the picture of the box. Along the bottom, you see a string of pictures. The one on the far right is part of the cover art for Planes of Power. Maybe there was a typo on the official site where they neglected to write in Planes of Power.
Oh well, BUY THIS GAME YOU WILL LOVE IT.
