If you like Indian Jones movies (and who doesnýt?) and have a Macintosh, this is the game thatýs hard to beat. Iýve read that some donýt like the control scheme, but after a little practice I found it fairly intuitive--just point Indiana with the mouse and press ýw.ý My only gripe would the lack of a ýwalký mode. This is purely an esthetic however since there is a ýstalký mode that is the equivalent. The best part about the game is the combat engine. All of Harrison Fordýs characteristic moves are well modeled and the enemy AI is relentless and clever. I have an iMac 1.25 Ghz with 768 MB ram and was able to play in the high resolution mode with no trace of slow down.
If Adventure has a name.....

...it must be Indiana Jones.
There are dozens of games featuring Indiana Jones, and this seems to be best of them so far. The puzzles are challenging, with enough twists and turns that you can shake a stick at. All of the moves/items Indy uses are action packed full of fun. Obviously, it gets harder the deeper you get into the game, but that's what makes it an adventure. My sister and I just love it!!
Go indy !

Loved the game so much the initial time I played it on windows that I thought it will be great to add it to my collection of Mac games. Graphics are not at all choppy on my powerbook 12".
Touchy Controls, Limited Save Game Features Mar an otherwise Great Game.

I have enjoyed playing Indiana Jones Games since Playing the Temple of Doom on the NES and I vaguely remember a version of Raiders of the Lost Ark on Atari. So I was delighted when Emperor's Tomb was ported to the Mac, especially a more arcade/FPS instead of the Fate of Atlantis. The Graphics on Emperor's Tomb are stunning and this is one of the first games I bought after upgrading my graphics card and processor.
The controls are extemely touchy, it's easy to miss a jump or walk off the edge of a ledge accidently, and it take some getting used to them to fight and shoot well.
I will admit that the save game feature could be better and it seems more like a game consule game that you can't save wheever you want.
This game is a must for Indiana Jone's fans and recommended for people who enjoy FPS games.
Good Game, but. . .

This is a good game with good graphics, considering its an oldie. The story line is great and game play is good, But the problem here is that if you depend on a PC controller a.k.a gamepad, its a real pain in the neck to set the proper gameplay settings on your device. Also there is a patch that you NEED to download and intall for this game, from there web site. If you dont get the patch your system will crash every once and a while.

First let me say, I have no problems with the game as far as graphics, plot etc. What made me finally give up was a the fact that you could not just save anywhere within the game, as you can in Tomb Raider. The game only saves when you complete a level. If you die while trying to complete the level or simply have to stop before the level is complete, you have to start all over at the beginning of the level. ARRGH.

This game is very hard to control. It does not allow you to save, so you end up having to redo the whole segment over and over till you make it.

The system requirements on this page are misleading. This game is not compatible with the newer Intel-based Macs.
