Blue is cute, but this program is a bit on the boring side. If each of the activities in this program were released seperately on its own, they'd make a nice little online Flash or Shockwave game that you would expect to play for free on the web. And like most online games, you wouldn't be too impressed when you were done. Too bad as we were expecting more than that from Blue.
We love Joe!

My daugther is 3 years old and it only took her one evening and she was playing the game on her own. It is very educational learning to buy items and picking out different shapes of food. Their is also A school where there is a computer where they can print different kinds of pictures on it. My daughter can play it for hours if she was aloud. I am sure your child will love it too. I also have a 5 year old nephew that plays this game that also enjoys very much.

I played with my almost four year old nephew with this and I found it very hard for him to follow. First of all, was he supposed to know when to click? I could hardly tell when the arrows were slighted changed.

This was my 3 year olds first computer game that she can completely play on her own. She can spend hours playing this game. I particularly like the different levels of difficulty. She loves her Blue's Clues

Activities are slow. Everytime you move from one screen to another, a "loading" screen appears for about 15 seconds. There are no verbal instructions which tell the user how to move from one store to another. I had to call the help line. In the "Library" it asks the user to put away the books on the bookshelf. The book names are letters (like M). There is an "M" on the bookshelf. When the user clicks on the book and puts it away on the shelf where the "M" is located, the character on the screen never says that it is the letter "M".
I think the software could have been much better written.
Enjoyable game

I like this game because it has very fun features. It makes kids feel special because they can enter their favorite colors and things and then hear about them throughout the game. The characters in the game remember the child's favorite color and initial. Kids also work towards a goal which is a mural that contains all the things they have collected through the game. The games are actually just right for the age group. If it's too easy, they can skip ahead to a more difficult level. All of the characters that kids love from the show appear in the game. Very good graphics.

Wonderful computer game. Very educational. My 3 year old son has been able to sit at the computer with little or no assistance to run this program on level one. He has room to grow with it and I am very impressed with the shipping. I recieved it promptly, and in excellent condition just like I was assured.
IMAC? Skip It.

If you are using an Imac with OSX, do not buy this product. It requires some system gymnastics to work, which is beyond my four-year old's ability to perform every time she wants to play. Skip this one and go to something else.

Although we are definitely "Steve" fans, this is a great game. My son is 2 1/2 and really enjoys this game. Some parts are pretty easy, like matching letters in the library, and some concepts are a little harder - like figuring out the differences in small, medium and large. Either way, my son is pretty PC saavy for his age and really enjoys this game. It provides enough of a challenge to keep his interest and help him learn new concepts. Worth they buy.

Blue's Clues Preschool is pretty good, but not great. My 3-1/2 year old daughter likes Joe and the animation... but it's a bit of a pig on performance and limited options. She plays this game the least of all.
