One of the finest baseball games ever created for the Super Nintendo was, without question, Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major Leage Baseball. The game was nothing short of excellent, not to mention easy to learn and play. It seemed only natural that Nintendo try to bring the game to the Game Boy. Read on for my review of the Game Boy port of this game.
PROS:
-Unlike the original Griffey game for the Super Nintendo, this one features REAL MLB players and stats.
-There are five different gameplay modes - And for the most part, no two of which are alike.
-The game has Super Game Boy enhancements.
-Controls are fairly easy to learn.
CONS:
-This game suffers from everything the classic Game Boy suffered from - choppy animation, small screen, blurring if you're playing on a classic Game Boy, and other problems.
-The graphics pale in comparison to those of a modern Game Boy Advance baseball title.
-The outfield radar can be difficult to use. It's small, and many of the objects on it look alike.
-Unlike the Super Nintendo Griffey game, this one doesn't have a name editor.
-Unless you have lightning-fast reflexes, you're not going to catch many balls while you're fielding.
OVERALL:
Overall this game was a good idea, but it just falls flat. I recently heard that a Game Boy Color Griffey game was released circa 1999, with updated stats, graphics, and gameplay. If you can, I recommend you hunt that one down instead of this. Another good alternative would be to stick to the Super Nintendo Griffey game. Sports games and tournament fighers just didn't work very well on the classic Game Boy and the NES, and this is no exception.

This game kicks butt! It is pretty easy to play. I liked the option of fielding on your own or letting the computer field. It was very easy to hit the ball and run the bases. I recommend this game to you. I am only ten years old, so you my not have the same thoughts on this game.

Ken Griffey Jr. has a good game going here. I like this game alot because it's challenging and it takes skill to work. The only thing I can win now is the home-run derby. Oh, there's also special features that come with the game. Although you can't create your own player, you can play a season, an exhibition game, a home-run derby, and even trade. HINT: When you trade you can get a really good player for a weak one. Overall, I like this game.
Ken Griffey Is an Excellent game

Ken Griffey Jr MLb is an excellant game. It is the best game out there for the gameboy. some of it's special features include trade a player, Home run derby, and season mode. When i first played it, it was hard but i turned on auto fielding and now it rules. This is a must buy if you only have original gameboy like me.
