my son got lava alarm for his birthday he has just recently gotten into the rescue heros we all like them but in this movie two boys are being recued from a valcano.in the part were the boys are being lifted out just in time when you see the boys from the heros view it looks like both boys have a rope around thier neck. well my son wrapped a cord around his neck "pretending" to be a hero the cord caught and luckily it came lose because he fell off his bed.he now has a three inch rope burn on his neck it scared him but i think that people with children who have active imaginations and like the heros should be told that they can get hurt if they do it like they do in the video...all ropes cords or anything else is gone from his room but it does not change the fact that on christmas eve we almost lost our son he was lucky i belive the people who made the video over looked a very important part of the movie...........

I bought this game for my five year old son. He loves the game. It is easy to learn, yet challenging enough to keep him interested. The variety of the several mini-games included has kept him busy with this game for a few months already (!)
Technically, the game is good too. Clear talking voices from the various Rescue Heroes is pretty neat.
As a parent, I appreciate the fact that this is an action game, yet contains no violence. It is about helping people and animals.

This is the third Gameboy title we have purchased for our 4-year old son. He's really into Power Rangers and Rescue Heroes, so the subject matter was excellent. Although it is not listed as an EC title, our son who has computer game experience, has found it challenging enough to hold his attention, yet easy enough to master so that he doesn't get discouraged. There's no mindless violence, no creepy villains. It's a really well-designed game, and has been well worth the money, since he has yet to get bored with it.

My six year old son was so excited to find that he could 'help' his favorite Rescue Heroes with different adventures. What an excellent video game. I had no qualms purchasing this game for him because I have been so pleased with the action figures and his long term fascination with true heroes of today. It's a pleasure finding a game that has non-stop action instead of repetitive violence.
awesome, completely awesome

Wow! I am a mom who was lucky enough to get her hands on this hard to find game. (Thanks amazon.com).
For the benefit of those looking at this game as a possible one for their kids, let me expand on what this games offers...it is ideal for ages 4 and up. No reading required.
My son is having a fantastic time playing along with the rescue missions. He's just new to gameboy. It is easy enough for him understand, but challenging and engaging enough to keep him interested and focused.
I work in a store that sells gameboy games. It's too bad more people either don't know about this game or are not able to get a copy easily at this time.
It's worth putting yourself on the waiting list for. There is no other game on Gameboy like this game. It's perfect for those kids who love action, but whose parents don't want them exposed to the violence of other kiddy favorites.
Also worthy of note...there are rescuers of both gender in this game.
