If you thought Tetris was the most addictive game ever to cross our palms then make way for this baby. It constantly keeps you coming back for more when you miss a question and you become more determined to get yourself a million big ones. I must have played this game for at least 12 hours now even though I've only had it 2 days. Ok you may call me a looser for playing Who Wants To Be A Millionaire for 12 hours but I can tell you once you press that start button you'll never want to turn that little box of colors off untill your eyes bleed of course. Graphics are completely in keeping with the show atmosphere. It really makes you fell that you are in the hot seat answering those questions. Controlls couldn't be any easier at all. Simply chose your answer with the A button, if you want to change your mind chose B then chose again. If you want to use one of your life lines then hit that neglected select button. That's all there is to it.
If your over 12 and have a fair grasp of general knowlege then put this down on your most wanted list. If your 5 years of age playing Pokemon, keep playing. All the same, I got it and I can't put it down, another game in my on my wall of fame. A must have for any fan of the show.

If you have ever seen a quiz game on the Game Boy,(I haven't) it might not be as good as this. WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE 2ND EDITION is an extremely addictive game. Let me put it this way, you press the power button the first time, and you instantly feel this little tingle inside of you. You start playing, and you want to get up the money chain higher, and higher. The graphics and sound make you feel like you're there sitting with the host( who I shall not name for reasons), and you are in the hot seat. Each question has the famous bordering around it, and when you make more and more money, you feel better, it cheers you up, and you want to MAKE MORE. MONEY MONEY. This game is VERY GOOD and I highly reccomend.
Great

Who Wants To Be A Millionarie: 2nd Edition is a great game with just one minor problem. The game is extremely addictive. Once you start playing it is impossible to put the game down. When you win money you just have to get to that million. When you lose you will get extremely mad and go right back and start over again. There are also lifelines in case you are stuck on a question. The minor problem that I had is that the questions were in just any random order. For example, I got a question about a river's geographical location with France for one of my first questions. Like I said no biggy. Buy this game and enjoy.
HAPPY GAMING
A bit better than version #1, but still not excellent

This game could be a five star game if the programmers would just do one thing. ADD MORE QUESTIONS! The lower-level questions just plain repeat themselves too often.
The game does as much justice to the TV show as a computer game could do. That is why I am happy with it. The lifelines usually help you out, but you still have to use your judgement. I guess that it really is the next best thing to being there.
I love the TV show, and this game is fun to play, but only until you start getting the early questions over and over again.
Plus, it lacks one other feature that the 1st version also lacks. You can't skip parts that you have seen before, which you would love to skip over. Every time that you start up the game you have to sit through a somewhat annoying introduction.
It's still worth buying, but not at the current price ... ...
A good game, for the most part

In the late nineties/early new millennium, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire became a wildly popular game show on the ABC network. And when a game show starts getting really popular, what do all the video game companies do? That's right. They try to get rich off of the show's success by releasing a video game version. How does Who Wants To Be A Millionaire for the Game Boy Color measure up? Read on and find out.
PROS:
-FOR THE MOST PART, THE GAME DOES AN EXCELLENT JOB RECREATING THE SHOW. All of the music from the show is in the game, as are the lifelines (right down to the fact that they sometimes try to push you towards wrong answers), multiple choice questions, etc. It's a pretty faithful reproduction, even though it was created for a fairly weak gaming system. And if you want to play with friends, there's even a fastest finger contest to see who gets to play the game.
CONS:
-THE TIME LIMIT IS JUST PLAIN STUPID! You only have thirty seconds to answer a question! On the TV show, contestants sometimes took a long time to think questions over, and for god only knows what reason, this game doesn't give you that luxury. You can pause the game, but doing so causes the screen to go black.
-THE QUESTIONS REPEAT TOO OFTEN. There just aren't enough different questions. Expect A LOT of repetition if you play the game on a fairly regular basis.
-BECAUSE YOU AREN'T PLAYING FOR REAL MONEY, THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS "RISK-TAKING" WITH HIGHER LEVEL QUESTIONS. On the TV show, contestants often faced the dilemma of whether or not to take a guess on a question to chance earning more money - or end up losing a good deal of it. It's the same way in the game, but if you take a chance and lose, you don't really lose anything - except for your high score, and who really cares about high scores?
OVERALL:
Overall this is a pretty good port of a good game show. I'm glad to finally see it in video game form, although I remain confident that there is room for improvement. Pick this up if you're a fan of the show; it should satisfy you. Sure, you're not playing for real money - but for most of us, it's as close as we'll ever get to being on the show.
PERFECT GAME!

my type of game - I'm not into shooting/sports/Mario Bros etc. type games, but this one is me all the way. I just have to get better about answering question when I get over $1,ooo. My only quam is not able to start a new game quicker (the game shows the check then leader board then regis - give me a break I want to start a new game)
