I really want a Gameboy Advance, and I feel jealous of Japan because they got it early. But I think you should wait before you pre-order this. My dad gave me this speech, and if you read it carefully, you'll understand.
The best part of a lot of things in life is the expectation. You always think the next thing is the greatest, the best and that you can't live w/out it. Usually we are disappointed but we need this hope and expectation to keep us alive. You always get what you want but w/ hard work and patience. If you get everything you want when you want it you'll run out of hope and things to work for. So keep working hard and at the appropriate time and later in life you will get the payoff of hard work in other ways i.e.: success, and happiness. etc.
So before you buy this product, think about is it worth it, and good luck. I hope that the Gameboy Advance is a big hit!

I just got my GameGoy Advance import yesterday, and haven't put it down for more than 5 minutes! The biggest surprise I had with the GBA was its size, its really small, about the size of a GameBoy color turned sideways. I guess I'm just used to the old clunker original gameboy of yesteryear. The graphics are great, although the screen seems a little dark. Its just like playing a portable SNES. So for I have only played Super Mario Advance (or Super Mario USA, as its known in Japan), but I like what I see. If you ever played Super Mario Allstars on the SNES, then you've played this version of Super Mario Bros 2, but it is still great. I look forward to the US releaseso I can get my hands on some more games (at least ones in english). Well, I've prattled on for long enough, I still have some levels to complete.
Nintendo has done it again

The GBA(Game Boy Advance) is going to be great. It has a 32 bit processor, meaning it has the power of the SNES. Nintendo is supposed to try and bring and most of the classics for the GBA from the SNES, which they have done so already with two exciting titles, Super Mario Advance and Mario Kart Advance. And what's with Sonic on a nintendo console? That's right, Sonic Adventure Advance is supposed to be released on the GBA as well. I geuss since Sega stopped making the Dreamcast, they are going to start making games for all the consoles. Overall, this is going to be a major change from the Game Boy Color to the GBA. The GBA features a much larger screen and, as I said earlier, a 32 bit processor, which is blowing by the Game Boy Color's 8 bits. Plus, if you like playing against your friends on the GBC using the link cable, you'll love it even more on the GBA. In fact, instead of each of you having to have your own copy of the game, on the GBA all you need is one game and you can play up to four players using that one copy of the game.
To conclude, if your a person who is in to having only the newest, fastest, and best technology around, get this, because it is the most powerful portable gaming system ever made. And, if all this isn't enough, the GBA is supposed to act as some sort of extra screen for Nintendo's newest gaming console, the Nintendo GameCube, which should be released this fall around the same time as Microsofts powerful new Xbox. I highly suggest the Game Boy Advance, because if your going on a road trip this summer(like me), your going to be glad you have this incredible console.
I actaully played it

While selling my N64 today at my local Funcoland I was surprised and overjoyed to find a playable GBA with Mario Advance. After playing the game for several minutes I was not disapointed at all. The game was very fun indeed and ported wonderfully from the NES to GBA. Included with Mario Advance is the original Mario Bros. Arcade game which I was only able to enjoy for about 30 seconds before I had to leave. If this package were in stock I would now surely order it with my newly earned N64 money. Buy this now!
