i'm a real dbz fan and this game is sorta good. the graphics are great and you can play as dr. gero android#17,18 and other players and the androids have unlimited power but i think it's bad because it is so easy to beat. you can buy the characters at the shop icon but i think buu's fury is better than this game. you can also use spirit bomb, instant transmission the kamehameha wave turn your opponents to chocolate with majin buu and use final flash with vegeta. the only fused character is gotenks and you can't use calick gun in this one.that's why i made it a 3 star rating
The best DBZ game yet for GBA!!!!!!

Of course lots of you know that most of the best
Dragonball z games are coming out for Gba. Supersonic Warriors
my favorite character is vegeta especally majin Vegeta. This is long though I beat all the storys, but I still have not got all the items and my batteries wore out. My favorite attack though that I gotta admitt Goku's spirit bomb
and just to let you in on a secert it takes away more when your in kaioken 100% hold r then press L he will then turn red in this form Goku can keep up with anyone. Highest level you reach in this game is ssj3 gotenks all the rest of character can only go ssj2 I don't know about Trunks. You also get mystic Gohan oh yeah if you got the poster on the back it says that Buu's fury is coming out Octber on my Taiketsu review I said September sorry for the wrong info. You diffently have to get this game though. oh yeah I got mine in July I think the 27th I was one of the first to get it.

More Kamehameha than most enemies can handle.

Goku, the most powerful warrior on Earth, he has the power to change history and struts his Super Saiyan power in Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors.
Packed with nonstop fighting, Supersonic Warriors offers a Story mode and four different Battle modes. The Story mode takes Goku through the Namek, Android and Majin Buu Sagas from the TV series. However, the game gives you alternate endings to these stories, giving Goku a chance to rewrite the history books. You start with the Namek Saga and can unlock the others in the Shop menu.
Features:
* Fight as one of 15 characters
* Uncover alternate endings to DBZ storylines
* Two players can battle via a Game Boy Advance Game Link Cable
* Unlock characters and difficulty level through a Shop option
When you accomplish a goal, such as completing the Namek Saga, you get points to spend in the shop. With these points, you unlock the other two storylines and different Dragon Ball Z characters. In the shop, you can also unlock higher difficulty levels and a Dragon Ball Z museum.
You also earn shop points by defeating all opponents in Z Battle mode. Choose either one-on-one battling or battle as a team of three. When you battle in teams, you choose your three fighters and can switch one out at any time during the battle by pressing the L Button. You win the battle when you defeat all members on the other team. Challenge mode puts you shorthanded by giving you a team of only two players to fight against a team of three. Finally, Free Battle mode lets you select both the team you'll be fighting with and members of the opposing team. Want to share the Supersonic Warriors experience with a friend? Two players can link up and battle in Link Vs. mode and fight in the way of the Saiyan.
In addition to the story and battle modes, Supersonic Warriors comes equipped with an extensive tutorial to help you learn how to fight like a Super Saiyan and unleash the powerful Kamehameha energy attack. The fighting sequences in the game are well done. Because the characters can levitate, long-range attacks become harder to perform, especially against the quicker enemies. Don't forsake hand-to-hand combat for long-range attacks. A steady mix of both will make you a Dragon Ball Z master.
Bottom Line:
The expansion of the Saga storylines is a nice touch, but fighting is the focus of this latest Dragon Ball Z offering.
Probably the best fighting game on Game Boy Advance

Add characters from the Dragon Ball Z cartoon series to a wonderful fighting game and you get Super Sonic Warriors...
DBZ: Super Sonic Warriors is probably the best fighting game you will ever get on your GBA. Moreover, if you are a Dragon Ball Z fan this game will really be a blast...
Let's drill down to the reasons I recommend buying this game:
Graphics: 10 out of 10.
Awesome. All characters are perfectly designed and look like they just came out of the pen of original DBZ designer Akira Toriyama. Special Effects (as Goku's Kameha blast, Vegeta's Big Bang Attack or Picolo's Makanko Sapo) are wonderfully rendered and you will see, with great surprise, some real cool graphics going on when you activate them (I won't describe in order to not spoil).
Controls: 9 out of 10.
Finally controls permit you to easily switch from flying to walking. You also get a well-done and really fun to do tutorial which will teach you the secrets of how to master the powers of the Super Saiyan.
Game play: 10 out of 10.
Just like good old Street Fighter or Tekken you can experience different story lines depending on which hero you choose in story mode.
Plus, you can play a whopping 15 characters from the DBZ cartoon. Basically everybody! You also get Buu!
Plus, you can fight against a friend through the GBA link cable.
Can it get cooler than this for a DBZ fan?
Atmosphere: 10 out of 10.
This is the real DBZ cartoon-fighting experience for GBA. If you like the cartoon this game will deliver all its fun.
The bottom line:
This game is a MUST BUY for:
1)DBZ fans. Those who like Goku and associates will love this game.
2)Fans of brawl and fight games. GBA doesn't offer much in this direction and normally they are all kind of crappy games. This one rulez.
The best DBZ game and fighter on the GBA

Now if you have experimented with many of the DBZ games in the past, you should know that 95% of them were pretty horrible. Plagued down by slow gameplay, a poor story, sluggish controls, and mediocre sound and graphics have made the majority of the series a boring play. After the poor releases of the Legacy and Taiketsu GBA games, Supersonic Warriors seemed like it would follow the same fate. Boy was I wrong...SuperSonic Warriors is one of the most fun and innovative games I have played in a while, and being a fan of the anime makes it even more exciting. What makes the game great is all of the modes they have provided, one system that has been carried down from the Budokai series, is the point shop system. Basically when you win at the Challenge or Battle matches you win points, which you use to unlock characters, higher power levels, and new story modes. The story modes are very interesting and point out some cool storylines for certain characters that go beyond the show.
The character selection is impressive as well, including Cell, Gotenks, Goku, Trunks, 18, and more. There are a few I would've liked to see make their appearance in the game, but I do not want to give out any spoilers. On the topic of gameplay, I found it great because of one thing it had that the others were missing....Speed. If you have seen the show you know that what made the fighting great was the KI fights and intense speed, this game has both. Flying at will, moving at quick speeds, fast paced grappling, and great effects all make for a fun fighting experience. With all I have pointed out it sounds like it does take a while to master, but actually within an hour I was able to get the hang of the gist of it. All in all, DBZ SSW isn't the most complicated fighting game out there, but it certainly is one of funnest, and bonus points to it being portable!
Supersonic Warriors is a must buy

Ahh, Dragonball Z. Originally a cartoon television show starring Goku, a Saiyan warrior, along with a ton of other good and bad characters, it's morphed (like the greedy little capitalist machine it is) into many differrent catagories. Now even the Gameboy Advance has a few titles; most recently, the fighting game known as DBZ: Supersonic Warriors. And you know what? Hands down, this is the best fighting game for the Gameboy Advance, period. Proving that you don't have to simply mirror the Street Fighter franchise, developer's Banpresto did an excellent job turning what could have been a minimal button masher into a worthy title for any fighting gamer, DBZ fan or not. You've got multiple game modes (the best being a story mode), repeat value (as you win with a character, your strength/ability grows) and a gradual learning curve. Random, repetitive fingers may win the beginning fights, but you'll quickly learn it takes skill to overcome the later challengers. Most of the characters are pretty solid, but like any fighting game, you'll probably stick to using the same 2-3 guys. Most importantly, the visuals really shine on this game, and the sound is pretty good as well. Fighting fans: Supersonic Warriors is a must buy.
Great!

This game has got to be one of the best games in the universe. It's just like the Budokai games with a shop, traning, story mode, free battle mode, z battle mode, challenge mode and a tuturiol. The only thing that is missing is the tournament mode but the game makes up for that with other battle modes. The story mode has a story for every character which makes for good replayability. I reccomend this game for everyone even people that don't like dragonball z. This game is most likley the best dragonball z gba game. The only better games are the budokai ones.
It's a non-stop match for the fate of the universe...

This is a great game with several alternate endings to one of my favorite tv series, Dragonball Z, it covers everything from the end of the namakian saga ( frieza and ginyu ) to the buu saga. Lots of fun and worth buying. Practice to be the best and earn new levels and characters.
