We gave this to my 8 year old for Christmas and he spent the whole day playing it. Not so good for Christmas festivities, but great fun for him. It's challenging enough to keep him interested, but not so much that he got frustrated. A definite must for any Pokemon fan!

Pokemon merchandise has faded ever since the cards came out. But the games still show that Nintendo has some potential. I'm no pokemon fan. And I certainly do not collect TCG cards. But I have been buying pokemon games since Gold/Silver came out. Nintendo shows that Pokemon can still be in just not in a collecting way. Leafgreen and Firered show almost no "revolutionary" gaming experiences or "leaps" from its predecessors. But it's still fun. Wireless Adapter? We can wait until Nintendo DS comes out. graphics? Not very new. I've seen better. Just get F-Zero when it comes out. But the fun cannot be matched by almost none and gameplay is quite good. So even though pokemon merchandise TCG is out, Nintendo gaming is definetely in.
Awsome remake!

The makers of pokemon did a great job remaking the classic games that got most of us fans hooked better gameplay better graphics better story line and the endless new possibilities i definatley give this game 5 stars although they should have came out with a ocean blue as well that would have been neat

The title is misleading. It doesn't come with a wireless adapter. I returned it to amazon because it doesn't match the description and, they just sent me another one without a video adapter.
DO NOT BUY

do not get this game if you have played the orignal red AND BLUE. mY FRIEND WAS SO HYPED ABOUT THIS GAME WHEN HE LET ME BORROW IT IT TURNED OUT TO BE A TOTAL REMAKE.THE TOWN LAYOUT OF THE GAME IS EXACTLY THE SAME AND THE BUILDING LAYOUT IS THE SAME TOO.tHE STORYLINE IS THE SAME ALSO. FIRE RED AND LEAF GREEN ARE RED AND BLUE STORYLINE AND LAYOUT WITH SAFFIRE AND RUBY'S GRAFICS. aLL THE NEW FEUTURES NITENTO SAYS ARE JUNK THE EXTRA ARE PURE STUPID. ALL THEY DID WAS PUT THREE EXTRA BATTLE MOVES AND ADDED 9 ISLANDS THOUGHT U CAN ONLY 7 OF THEM WITHOUT GAMESHARK. bUT IF U HAVE NEVER PLAYED RED,BLUE OR YELLOW GO AHEAD GET THIS GAME IT IS WORTH IT. FOR THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE PLAYED IT DO NOT WASTE $30 ON THIS CRAP.
Did not play it yet but I know it will be fun!

Without a doubt, this is the best PokeMon game to date! Phenominal graphics, great sound, and the same old Pokemon in one game!! The only downside is that you have to buy, and beat PokeMon Colloseum, to beat LeafGreen, which isnt an easy task, especially considering PokeMon Colloseum isn't that good of a game. But LeafGreen is just plain AWESOME.
Basically a rental title

I rented this once at gamefly(like netflix, only you rent games), and when I rented this title, I thought I was in for a surprise. But all it is is a remake of blue and red. Although I played a decent amount of hours, the new islands of new pokemon give the game a little better replay value.
