The Good:
Fast and Furious Shooter
New Enemies
New Levels
High Adraline Action
The Bad:
Bad Graphics
Old Sound and the Uzis' sound are really bad
Partical Effects not present
Not as frantic as the Xbox or the PC versions
Although there are new enemies, some of the enemies' bark are worse than their bite
Awkward Controls
Kamikaze's scream is still in the game, so thats good. But they are animated differently which i don't like.
Unless you have a PC or an Xbox, do not buy this game. If you have neither (or your computer is flawed) then stick with this game. You'll regret it, though.

First of all, i ain't a kid.
Sam went all out on the PC and the Xbox. And now he is taking his no nonsense action to the PS2 and the Gamecube.
Serious Sam: Next Encounter is the Second game in the Serious Sam Francise. However, some people do not consiter to be a serious sam game, because it was not developed by croteam.
The game is basicly the same as the first, Sam is on a quest to stop the evil Mental from destroying humanity. and he must deal with the uglies, DOOM style.
The differances from the gamecube version to the Xbox version of the game is that there are new enemies, new weapons and new levels. Plus, sam can now ride in vehicals.
However, Next encounter fails to catch the spirit of the Xbox version of Serious Sam. The Graphics are ugly, the sounds are old and bland, and there's not much frantic energy as the Xbox game. For example, if you crank the difficaulty setting all the way up, it doesn't make the game more frantic, it just makes the enemies harder to kill and you easier to kill.
The game's music is good. The game consist atmospheric music when not fighting, and all that calm music changes into squealing guitars when enemies appear. If you aren't a huge guitar fan, then this game isn't for you.
Next Encounter does have a satisfying multiplayer, the gameplay is similar to the xbox.
Overall, this game is pretty good, Consitering that the gamecube doesn't have enough FPS games out there. If you can forgive it's graphics, sound, level design, (basically a lot to forgive) Then give this game a try.
