This game is definitely not worth the $30 I paid for it. I bought the game after reading some fairly good reviews and thinking that it would be similar to Mario Party. I also thought it would be a good party game, but none of my friends enjoyed playing this game.
Every game is about 3 seconds at the longest, and none of them have an explanation other than one word, such as "DODGE". 200 games seems like a lot of fun action, but none of them are really fun. Here's a typical game: A bar is dropped, and you have to catch it by hitting "A" at the right time. No explanantion other than one word such as "CATCH", and the game is over in 2 seconds. You either catch it or you don't, then on to the next game.
If you have Attention Deficit Disorder and enjoy playing 10 pointless games within 30 seconds, this game is for you. If you are considering buying this game. I highly suggest you rent it first.
I did not like this game

Although Wario is one of my favorite Nintendo characters, this game definitely has knocked him down the rank a little. I guess I was not expecting the raw anime that this game has. I was very dissapointed.
worst game ever played

I was utterly disappointed with this game. I would give it 0 stars if I could but the lowerst rating is one star. don't wast your money. I would rather get a root canal done than buy this game. Luckily I rented it for free so i don't feel completly cheated.

This game stinks...it took 20 mins to play through the whole game. And each "game" is only 3 seconds long.
C'mon. this game would have been cool in 1991.

I bought it to play with my little niece and nephew, but I was disappointed. The game is not a game. Its tens of little "games" that have horrible graphics and last 3 seconds. They are pointless and confusing.
I do not recommend buying this game.

This game was a total waist of money! It only took me a day to beat! The mini-games aren't that fun. I bought it two weeks ago and I am already sick of it! However, I gave it two stars because of its multiplayer mode which is good. I do not recommend buying this game.
Just a rehash of the original

Let me say this first. The game itself is fun. The problem I'm addressing here is that Nintendo's basically made the same game twice.
Well, let me first go into some other problems. The instruction manual contains next to no info on how to play, about half of the multiplayer modes suck, and the single player mode has little to no replay value.
That being said, the main problem I have with this game is that it's basically the original (GBA version) game with a few new features, which are multiplayer, a statistics screen, and some new info on the characters. That's the only difference between this and the original. Wait, there's one more difference: a lot of the single-player features in the original are missing.
What I would have liked to see in this game:
New microgames
More single-player modes
CPU characters so you can play multiplayer mode by yourself.
Replace the 'See the Doctor' mode with something actually fun.
A better written instruction manual.
Conclusion: Just buy the GBA version. It costs a little less, and it's portable.
Bizarre

That's the word that most aptly describes this game. I have never played anything like this before.
"Mini-games" is not a good word to describe the games that comprise "Warioware." "Micro-games" is more like it. You'd think you can't lose with 200+ of these games, but know that each one lasts about an average of 3 seconds. Usually you can finish them by pressing one button at the right time, or moving the joystick in one direction. You're given no instructions, except for a one-word command (Shoot! Escape! Choose!), and half the fun of each game is seeing how quickly you can figure it out.
The single-player game is played by finishing 24 "micro-games" in rapid succession, followed by a longer "boss stage." This was really fun the first time I tried it, but once I got through all the stages, I had no desire to play again. And unless I overlooked it, there's no multi-player games - just the option to take turns playing one-player micro-games and compete for score.
The graphics are not good but are 100% appropriate for this type of game. Most of the micro-games have "retro" graphics and are designed to look like old Nintendo or arcade games. This was the best part of the game for me, as there are micro-games based on The Legend of Zelda, Dr. Mario, Super Mario Bros., Excitebike, Metroid, and even the old Virtual Boy games. All of the games paid homage to old arcade games in their simplicity and ancient-looking graphics.
But I'd recommend a rental for this one. The replay value seems minimal at best. If anything, I might buy this to make other people play it and see their reaction to how incredibly strange it is. But probably not.
Good at first but...

This game is addictive and fun at first, until you play all the games twice, this is a great game. But after you've replayed all the mini games, this game is pretty boring ... I wouldn't buy this game, I'd definitely recommend you rent it but don't buy it unless you really, REALLY like it. A game you will want at a party.
WarioWare on the GC

I have to admit, I loved the first game on the GBA. It was fun, simple, and random. Now it has been released for the GC with little changes. For those of you who don't know about WarioWare, it is a game where you play 5 second mini games in random order and try to go as high as you can.
The only changes in this game is the multiplayer feature. Multiplayer was in the original in the form of L and R games using one GBA. However in this game, you have choices in what you want to do. For instance, you can test your skill to see who can is the better microgame champ in the 'Fever' mode. Or, you can see who gets blown to bits in the 'Balloon Bang' game where one player plays microgames while the others fill a big balloon with air. If the player wins the game, the next player has to play one; if they fail, they must keep playing until they do. Overall there are 5 Multiplayer modes and 3 modes where 16 people can play with one controller.
There are some new mini games, but about 95% of all the minigames are from the original. The new mini games are for the multiplayer modes and are interesting to say the least. Some of them are plain cheap while others require skill or just luck.
Single player mode is really lame considering it is almost identical to the GBA mode. I mean I would rather play those microgames on my GBA then on the big screen. This game can be completed faster than the GBA game and is not as fun. The only redeeming factor has to be the multiplayer, which is random and simplistic just like the original game.
This game should only be picked up if you don't own the first game or you're one of those gamers who love multiplayer games. For the rest of you, go out and buy the original if you haven't.
Pros
- Great Multiplayer modes
- Fast action minigames
- A few new minigames have been added
- You can use your GBA as a controller if you prefer
Cons
- Single player mode is just not the same as it is on the GBA
- Most of the minigames are from the original
- The game can be completed really fast
