What an incredible game. In fact, this game BUILDS on the film. I have never played a movie licensed game that expounded this much on a story. The intro with Jekyll and Hyde is great, and so are all the cutscenes therafter. Anyways, this game also has incredible gameplay, addictive and entertaining, along with graphics that are very smooth, and some of the best I have seen.

Definately buy this.

Not reccomended for Pre Teens due to violence and some creepy sequences involving vampires, werewolves and other creatures.

Van Helsing rules. this game is non stop action and cool graphics. it goes along with the movie very well. This game is sweet. What can i say it rocks. It's worth buying.

I made my b/f rent this game and then we sat down together and played it, making me realize we work very well together. Anyway, I really enjoyed playing this game. The weapons were awesome (especially the tojo blades) and the gameplay was a lot of fun. It's pretty easy to figure out, but the gameplay isn't so simple that it leaves you yawning.

We got a good 8 hours of continual gameplay, but that was us figuring out everything together so it may take longer for others to finish it. Overall, highly enjoyable, but after you beat it it's not fun enough to play again.

This game gets really boring really fast. I mean there's only like 13 levels that aren't that fun and the overall gameplay is just plain stupid and too hard!!!!!!!!!

IN THIS GAME YOU TAKE ON THE ROLE OF VAN HELSING - AND PLAY THRU LEVELS BASED ON THE HIT MOVIE.THERE ARE NICE THINGS ABOUT THIS GAME , AND STUFF THAT ISN'T EVEN NEEDED..THE EASTER EGG BONUSES ARE NOT REALLY NEEDED, AS WELL AS THE SCORING SYSTEM SIMILAR TO THE SCORING IN '' DEVIL MAY CRY ''.YOU GET LOTS OF VERY COOL WEAPONS , AS WELL AS YOUR TOJO BLADES, BUT SOME WEAPONS YOU HAVE TO SEARCH FOR .BUT YOU REALLY NEED TO MASTER THE SKILL OF DUCKING AND ROLLING WHILE FIRING YOUR WEAPONS, OR YOU CAN JUST GRAPPLE OUT OF HARM'S WAY.BUT MOST ENEMIES WILL FOLLOW YOU AND ARE RELENTLESS.. I bought this game because I loved the movie and I thought it world be like the movie. The game is kinda hard and took me forever to get past the Dracula Wives. I guess it just got boring after a while. I never play it anymore anyway.

Good Clean Fun

Van Helsing is a good clean fun video game, in the spirit of the Devil May Cry series. Like that game's hero Dante, Van Helsing battles demonic creatures, wielding deadly and funky weapons with style and substance. The game follows the movie very well, mimicking the film's important plot point, even though they are ludicrous. The game does show a few small gliches involving graphics and voice overs, which takes away from the game a little. The scenery and graphics in general are good. The Transylvanian background is depicted beautifully. I found myself admiring these scenes as I walked throughout the levels often being caught off gaurd by monsters who did not care for my admiration. Van Helsing does not break any barriers in video gaming, but is simply good clean fun.

Van helsing is one of the best video games I played so far.I loved the music and everything.I loved all the emenies and monsters,etc.Just like watching the movie all over again.Stayed true to its movie roots.I thought I was going to be bored to tears when I first bought this game.Turned out to be a wise move on my part.

This game was too easy overall, the puzzles were too easy, and the bosses were too easy to beat. When I had beaten it was like "is that it?" At the end I thought I was going to be able to fight Dracula as the werewolf like he did in the movie but I was sadly disappointed. It only took about 3 hours too beat. I don't recommend anyone waste their money on this game.
