Why did they drop the female character?

I have just cancelled my order for Elite Force II. I read the
website descriptions of the game and found out that you cannot
choose the sex of the main character. If the creators of this
"sequel" wish to market to only men, fine. I'm not a man.
Alexandra Munro needs to be placed back into the program.

Wow I just wasted 40 dollars! Hurray!

What a piece of .... I thought they had tried to improve on this game, but apparently not. I looked forward to a command level game in the Star Trek universe that was fun and simple to catch on to and play with interesting and fast pace missions. Right. Not yet. The mission are incredibly long and boring, the "universe" map demands you go to a certain hex, but the hexes are not labeled. The free for all mode isn't. The computer players ignore each other and procede to pound on you till you are scrap. The ship modification is a waste of time. To even damage a subsystem takes too long to bother with. Stay with multiplayer Bridge Commander for a good experiance, this game is a waste of time and money.

yuk!!!

This game will not work on newer computers. Even though tech support sent directions to allow me to play the game it still didn't work.

When will it actually be sent to me???

I preordered this game about 3 months ago. It seems everyone has their copy but me, when do you think you guys could ship it?

The graphics are [bad]. Armada was far superior!

The graphics are [bad]. What a piece of garbage! Armada was far superior! I ended up unistalling this waste of money 10 minutes after installing it. Go with the original if you haven't played it, or Bridge Commander. Much better choices.

This Game ....

I've been a die hard fan of the Starfleet Command series since it came out. Starting with SFC1 I had finally found a game that would hold my interest for years!

...I couldn't wait...bought it, installed it, played it, HATED IT!! This game is so far removed from the other 3 titles and it is a joke. By trying to appeal to the TNG fans and to attract new customers, the game was simplified to the point of a 7 year old could play it and win. Go into reverse and fire...that is it...no tactics nada.

It is a shame that such a great Game title has gone to the dogs....

DO NOT waste your money

Although I am trekkie and purchased this game with high hopes, I was immensely disappointed. The only positive thing I can say about the game is that most of the graphics are impressive. (One notable exception: when characters' lips move when they are talking, it looks ridiculous and unrealistic.) Every other aspect of the game is horrendous. Gameplay is very slow, and you spend a lot of time just watching events unfold, in sickeningly slow speed, on the screen. The game even manages to make battles boring--you just instruct your tactician, with a series of mouse clicks, to attack, and he fires at the enemy ship for a good five minutes until it blows up. This relegates you to the role of observer rather than participant, which makes for a boring experience. Also, you do not have the ability to save during a mission, so if you make a mistake and fail a mission, you are doomed to repeat the entire boring experience. I strongly recommend against this game.

Way to many bugs. . .

I was exited about the game, but could not get it to run long enough to enjoy it.

Activision was unwilling to assist in troubleshooting, but Best Buy was nice enough to take the bug ridden game back.

To bad because it started out good till it kept crashing.

It Gave Me A Major Headache!

I am highly dissappointed in this sequel. The ships/bases are not as realistic as the first game and the firepower is not as realistic as the first game. This game didn't even come with an instruction manual! I love the instant action of the first game but the sequel is horrible. I have tried to give this game a chance but after wasting 7 hours I'm through. I literally thought I was going to get sick. Do not waste your money on this. The new technology and the addition of the Cardassian and Species 8472 is not worth it. The Maps are not even as good as the first game! The 3D view isn't worth it either, gave me a migraine. I repeat, NOT AS REALISTIC as the first game! I'm going back to the first game and I'm going to try to pawn part II off on someone else.
