DO NOT call their customer service. One guy yelled at me, another basically said I was an idiot because their HIGH$$$$$$$ software won't load properly; requires numerous update patches, and locks up...I do have plenty of memory...TalonSoft are the ONLY games I have problems with! BEWARE!!!!
Buy my copy, I'll sell it cheap.

I bought this game with some reservations. I own Battleground Ardennes, which is an earlier TalonSoft game and I had such a negative experience with the number of bugs and the poor tech support that I nearly didn't buy this. I should have gone with my first inclination. Don't be fooled by the relatively modest system requirements, this game is a memory hog. Worse yet, because I didn't have enough free space on my hard drive, the installation crashed without completing and in the course of doing so corrupted my Windows OS somehow. I had to reinstall Windows to recover. This is probably a fun game when you get it up and running. You will need at least 1 GB of free space on your hard drive to install it. Based on my experience you can expect bugs and poor support from TalonSoft. If you don't know how to do anything on a computer besides put the CD in and let it install itself you should probably avoid this game and any other TalonSoft product. If you don't mind a bunch of headaches related to installing the game and can function without support from TalonSoft, you will probably enjoy playing it once it is installed.
Beware: Faulty Copy Protection Ruins game!

If you're like me and have been many times aggravated and inconvenienced by poorly implemented copy protections schemes for software you have bought, you WON'T want this CD. It has all the worst problems software gamers have come to expect from buggy software. It won't even run if your CD is a CD writer. And the tech-support is worthless. But hey, what do you want for [the price], at least the box is pretty!

Europe in Flame is cheaper as East Front II alone (and you get West Front + expansion packs for free). However you might want to look at World at War: 40$ for Europe in Flames + Bombing the Reich (East Front 2 expansion pack which has some nice night scenarios) + Rising Sun Gold (the better one). Look at reviews of East Front 2 and Rising Sun. I played this game on an old 333Mz computer and it worked just fine. However this is a game for people how enjoy classic hex based wargames (slow, complex, historically accurate...). The nice 3D eye candy doesn't change this. Hope you like it.

It is a must-buy for a war game player. Also, you can get the feeling on what a war really is. With the cost of a single original pack, now you can get five together.
all that one could want

This is the combo worth the money, two big titles plus expansions! Costs just as much as they do individually yet has the two biggest titles given out by Talonsoft.
Excellent buy

This set is an excellent buy and I wish it were around when I purchased East Front, its expansion pack and West Front, all individually. The games are at a platoon level and offer both set scenarios or campaigns to play. These are basically set around obtaining objectives or holding them. You will get to control infantry, tanks, artillery and sometimes able to call up air support. I especially enjoy using the mighty Tiger tanks with their deadly 88mm. I have spent many an hour of enjoyment with these games and thoroughly recommend them.
