"Goodbye Halo" is right!

I played this game on a sleepover and I could not stop playing Capture the Flag! This game is awesome, and there is a wide variety of multiplayer arenas. The vehicles help a lot, and the transports work awesome when you have a friend on your team. The best thing is the armor and weapons. There are so many customizable features that allow you to use any strategy you want. The controls can be a little confusing, though. But I still had a lot of fun. The game is also challenging, which makes it more entertaining. I love this game!!!

Tribes Aerial Assault is sweet, Its a game you can play over and over again. all boys in the family will love it. you can drive hovering motorcycles, flying assault jets, and even giant traansport jets that you can haul your buddys around in. i highly recommend this game. if your wondering, there is no blood. there is lots of action, tons of different levels, and 6 different characters to play as. you can choose the weapons you will use through out the game before and during the level. you can set the time limit to infinite if you want. i recommend capture the flag while you play. there are some levels with turrets scattered around and some levels with under ground forts. Anyways, as i said before this game is sweet, they mean it when they say good bye halo.- Pickelldrago

wow this game is awsome! and if your wondering yes it is first person veiw BUT! BUT you can change to third person in the in game menu!!!! thats cool!!! totally raises your spirits if your not a fan of first person! and it has many multyplayer games and 1player games like team deathmatch, deathmatch,and every kids alltime favorite capture the flag!!!!!! take a kids game and combine it with laser cannonds and laser jets and make the ultimate game!!

you can also do a tiny bit of costamization to your character which is good.

This a definately one of the best games I have ever played, and I'm not one of those people who enjoy ... games. I only play the best, and this on my scale is the best! It's from the makers of CounterStrike and Half-Life, so just by the designer I knew this was a buyer. And boy was I right! The levels are very detailed and vary from the base of a volcano, to a snowy wasteland, to a tropical jungle and more! The online play could have been better with some voice chat or some kind of communication. But the online play is still great! The two player is also a blast! And for all those Quake and Unreal fans out there, No, people don't explode but you can shoot people out of the sky and see them plunge to their quick but extremly painful death and imagine them screaming in misery and laugh at your pleasing work. The weopons are many with homing rocket launchers, to futuristic exploding disk launchers, to plasma rifles, and machine guns, and much more! You also have a choice of vehicles: the speedy gravity bike"The Mongoose", to the bulky heavily armored transport"The Piltdown",to the nimble lightly armored Fighter"The Dingo", and last but not least is the heavy damaging bomber"The Hammer Bomber". In conclusion to writing this review I give Tribes: Aerial Assault a well deserved 5 out of 5. Thanks!

5 stars!The above review is most accurate the communication in the game has been fix.CHAT-TEST added to your buddy list,lets you say any thing in the game you need to say (relating to game content)This game is very fast pace thou, may not attarct to all FPS fans.

for the 1st 30 minutes the control might be lil TOO confusing(considering that this is a PC based game). however, once you get use to the control, this game is amazing. if you are looking for an addictive game that you can get into for months, this is it. the problem is, the sound [is bad], and you cant communicate with your teammates. but there if u have bunch of friends playing this game, and you all have a broadband or 2 phonelines, you can call them, using 3 way or hav 2 people use 3 way @ once to communicate with 4 people at once. then use a speaker phone or a headset(headset is better). this way, the whole team can communicate, and if opposite team doesnt know this method, then u can easily smoke them. overall this is a VERY VERY good game.

This is the best first person shooter ever played and I recomend to all.It is missing a few small details included in tribes 2 for pc but is still one of the best ever ps2 games.Only worhty of online play,dont buy it without a network adaptor.With 3 armor classes, a wide range of weapons,and even a selection of vehicles to pilot, this gives a whole new meaning to capture the flag.Jet packs equipped with all armor help speed up the game too AND give unfair advantages to those who are willing to use them.

First of all, this is by far the BEST online shooter on the PS2.

It's only fun if you have a few things though. First, if you don't have the network adapter, this game is the worst. The buy in this game is the online experience. The campaign and bot matches (offline play) are good for practice, but once you exceed them, you're going nowhere fast.

16 players? Sheesh, say 32 players. One of the developers of the game, Ricochet, hasn't forgotten about us. He put up special servers, called AADS (Aerial Assault Dedicated Server) that let you do things you cannot do in a game you host yourself.

What do they do?
Well, it makes gameplay a lot better. He is able to balance it out more through AADS, without making patches. The game wasn't designed to download patches, so he just does it on the actual server itself!

You say there's no communication? Well, you're wrong. There is a thing called CHAT-TEST that allows you to say basic things such as
"I need a ride!"
"Hi!"

"Sorry."
"You Rock!"
and so on...

This really makes the game better.

Another thing that would make this game all more worth the buy is the community. (...)

If you want to get this game, just get the network adapter to go along with it, (...). You won't regret it. It will keep you hooked for a very, very long time.

Tribes: Aerial Assault is a very good online game. There are multiple ways to play online and the game never gets boring. The offline gameplay is good for begginers but gets boring playing against bots very fast. A great game to own if your into 1st person shooters.
