This game is by far the best RPG game ever made. It Revolutionizes the gaming world. I have had zero problems running this game on my computer. I am running this game with a pentium 4 processor with a 1.8 Ghz 512 MB etc. People who say " This game doesent run on my computer" You are probably right. Mainly because you have to quit being so cheap and spend some money. Make an investment in something that will run any game you want, after all you only live once. Dont blame the game for your computer problems. Now on to the actual game. I have never had a better time playing games in my life until now. This game has brought to me as i am sure others as well a sence of awe for the computer gaming industrie. The graphics on this game are out of this world! every thing has an animation for it's own all the way from some body blinking to wind blowing chimes on a house. This is truly magnificient! As you may have read from other ratings this world is HUUUUUUGGGEEE!!! i have never seen any other game more detailed and big on one disk in my life. The characters are way cool too. you have several different options to choose from. I personally chose an Imperial Knight. I am a fighter class. This game has been the best investment in my RPG gaming career! I highly Recommend this game to every one. Except for Danny Chan because he does not like RPG's. Well K2

Elder Scrolls Three:Morrowind is going to change the RPG world forever. It has a HUGE world where anything can happen. Not one person will act the same every time you talk to him/her. They might even get anoyed and try to attack you. You can get an assaisans guild after you, but impress them and you will be asked to join this guild. This game has many outcomes and not once will you come to the same ending as before. Personly i think this game is the best rpg that will come to PC and Xbox. If you are a fan for RPGs, this is the game for you, and if you havent already, RESERVE IT.

My family has installed many games on our computer. It is a relatively fast one with 1000MHz processor 32 MB of video memory and 512 MB of main memory. All games have worked perfectly out of the box- we have installed updates with no trouble. UNTIL NOW. MORROWIND NEVER WORKED. No matter what patches we downloaded, what tweaks we made to WindowsXP, it NEVER worked past the first 75 seconds of the game. A look at their website will show you that we are not alone. THIS IS A BUGGY CODE and should not have been released until it worked on any computer they could try- from super fast to just ordinary...

Personally I have only tried the game on XBox,but this game is awesome all the same. Fantasic graphics,awesome adventures, and the way your character is looked upon(according to the stuff you do)makes this a must get game. All the character classes,inventory items,facial expressions and the never ending quests keep you wishing for more and you're in luck because it has over four-hundred of them. So come this Christmas you'll know what to get.

No 20 stars? Oh well. 5 will have to do.

I can't say that I have played Elder Scrolls 3 but, I have played past versions of the Elder Scrolls series. This game will surely top the charts with computer gaming.

For one, this is truly an RPG. I prefer living stupidly in RPGs. If you see someone running through a gate polluted by guards and then hit one of em, it was probably me. Mess with the the theives guild and have them send a horde of assassins to take care of you? Sounds like a party. Upset an unknown figure and get a couple of bounty hunters on your tail? Living the high life.

This game allows a huge amount of different paths to follow to find your way to the end of them game. I often find myself wishing I saved more often due to the fact that I did something wrong and couldnt achieve a special, powerful weapon. This game allows you to backtrack and change the stroyline.

This is for the RPG people out there. If you played FPSs and wish to go to RPGs, this is the game to do so. If you are a strong FPSs kind of person, avoid this game. If you can...

I am easy to give [money] for a game as high quality as this. I am easy to pay [more money] so I can get it two days early with the Collectors Edition.

If you like RPGs, dont pass this game up. You will regret it.

Check For Graphic Card Before Buying

I could not even play it! I have a HP less then a year old, with over 512Ram and 1.3ghz processor. My graphics card is unsupported even though it is a name brand card. There is a huge list of ones that are not supported. Go to the Bethesda Softworks website before buying and make sure you will be able to use it. Nothing is worse than spending money on a game that will be used as a cup coaster.

...I urge anyone considering buying this game to read through [The official Morrowind tech support forum ]. In its current state the game is horribly bug-ridden, to the point of being unplayable on many computers that should be more than capable of running it. Bethesda Software... refuses to admit some of these bugs even exist.

The best expansion pack of the year...

Right from the start, "Morrowind" was an unusually good roleplaying game - though it had its fair share of flaws, I hasten to add. The second expansion pack for "Morrowind" addresses several of these problems, and essentially provides a much better game that adds a welcome dose of variety. Without "Bloodmoon," you have not truly experienced the best that "Morrowind" has to offer.

Perhaps the most refreshing addition to "Morrowind" is the snowscape of Solstheim, the island that "Bloodmoon" adds to the mix. This environment is breathtaking and fun to explore. Best of all, it adds a very welcome variety in the atmosphere department - a department, I felt, in which the original game was lacking. While visiting Solstheim, you can kiss those barren, repetitive landscapes of Vvardenfell good-bye. In Solstheim, you will be treated to pine forests, dunes of sparkling snow, a Norse inspired hamlet, and even a castle hewn of ice. Wild bears, wolves, and barbarians roam this arctic isle in search of prey, and require you to keep your eyes and ears constantly open for encroaching attack.

The main quest that the expansion provides is considerably more involving than the whole "find and destroy Dagoth Ur" thing from the original game - although it's quite a bit shorter, as you probably expect from an expansion. Still, aside from one quest that requires you to tediously roam Solstheim performing brief quests to activate six elemental stones, the primary adventure demands far less busywork and errand boy chores, and instead gets right down to real, true blue adventuring - which was just too rare in stand-alone "Morrowind." And, of course, you can turn into a werewolf, which is a very nice touch.

Other nice additions to the expansion: quests that require you to fight side-by-side with NPCs (even an undead Nordic necromancer!), NPCs that react more realistically to you based upon your experiences with them, environments that change to reflect current events, and tightly scripted moments that bring the story to life in a way that "Morrowind" scarcely even attempted. Yes, "Bloodmoon" takes an excellent game and makes it that much better. As an Elder Scrolls veteran who has been playing the series since its introduction with "Arena," this goes a long way toward making the third game feel more like its forebears.

It's not perfect, of course. The game's dungeon environments are still very drab and basic. They look pretty enough, but mostly offer identical cavernous tunnels (now snow or ice-encrusted) with very few furnishings or artistic flourishes to keep them visually compelling for long. Maybe it's a good thing, then, that most of the dungeons are so small, since they're not much fun to explore in the first place. Whatever happened to those huge, sprawling dungeons from "Arena" and "Daggerfall?" Not only that, each dungeon seems content to keep hurling the same breed of foe at you over and over again. You won't find skeletons sharing their lair with werewolves, for example - and maybe that makes logical sense, but it's rather dull in gameplay terms.

The addition of falling snow is certainly a welcome atmospheric touch, but on occasion the isle of Solstheim will experience blinding snowstorms that can make the game's frame rate plummet considerably. These storms aren't too frequent, but they are very annoying when they happen. All in all, though, after installing "Bloodmoon" I experienced smoother frame rates, and graphics that are perceptibly enhanced.

Elder Scrolls enthusiasts, take heed: "Bloodmoon" simply can't be missed. In my view, it completes "Morrowind" by adding more depth, more variety, and a tighter, more interesting story. It is easily the best expansion pack I have purchased this year, in terms of how it enhances the original game (here even surpassing "The Frozen Throne" for "WarCraft III"). Do yourself a solid and go to Solstheim.

I will try and keep this short and to the point. Basicly Morrowind has 3 good things about it and 3 bad things. See if any of the good things are what you want in an RPG game beore you buy it.

1. Freedom at last: Many games (in fact all games that I've played) have a victory or game end. Morrowind doesn't have an end. In fact there isn't anything you HAVE to do (the main quest is optional.) You can do ANYTHING you want to.

2. Steal all you want: You can take anything you want! From stealing stuff in containers to "liberating" items off people. The only real hard part is not getting caught.

3. Interaction: You can talk to any character in the game (note that people who want to kill you will not talk.) You can ask people for directions and information. You can talk to them about something in general (like the latest rumors) or somthing more directed (like "do you know anyone with this name.")

The 3 maybe 1 or 2 bad things are whatever you don't like about the 3 good things. Enjoy the game (if you want it.)

Are you looking for a gigantic.. and I mean GIGANTIC RPG world filled with amazingly detailed environments like sandstorms, rain n thunder, volcanic lands, marshy terrains, tombs, towns, ruins, and dungeons? Well, this game has that. The creatures in this game, they're just out of this world. One of the creatures you'll see in the game is a Dreugh which is a scorpion/squid like creature and it creeped me out. That is exactly what you'll have to face as you try to complete hundreds of quests (you'll never do em all) in the land of Morrowind. This game is a must have for people who like RPG and adventure games. Even if you don't like it you'll still need it cause this is the game of the year, right.
