Narnia has great graphics...and thats the only really good thing it has going for it. The gameplay is boring and repetitive. The story is chopped up so much to not too much of the movie away that it really dosent make sense. Defiantly rent this one, but I dont recommend buying.
Rated teen but teens and older will find it boring

This game presents extracts of the movie in between times when you can play. This leads to a chopped gaming experience with long pauses. The game prompts you to do this and that, because without the prompts it would be near impossible to figure out what you had to do. As a player, your actions are restricted to finding out how to do what the game tells you to do (i.e., which buttons to push); you are narrowly corralled into the movie plot. This game does not have any replay value, as there can be no variations as to what happens, and there is nothing else to explore.
Overall the game feels like it was designed for ages 8-13. Consequently there is no audience for this game, as it is rated teens but most teens will find the limited content boring.
Can't play the game!

We have a six month old HP computer system. Imagine our surprise, when on Christmas day, we loaded the Narnia game only to be told that it required "Pixel Shader" in order to operate. Sure enough, this requirement is listed in small print on the bottom of the box, but we sure didn't notice the bottom of the box BEFORE we opened it. Check your system to make sure you can meet the minimum requirments!
Requirements of this type should largely advertised both on the front of the box, and on the advertisements/descriptions so that there is no ugly and potentially costly surprise.
Exactly like the LOTR games by EA

Plain and simple, if you like the LOTR games by EA, you'll like this. Its exactly the same. Anyone who praises LOTR and hates this is just being biased twords LOTR. Ive played both and I hate both equally because this mindless action stuff is just not my style of game.
Ok, now for a review of the game:
Basically, its a run around action game. You fight bad guys after bad guys after bad guys. You can swap between differnt characters to use differnt character abilities which keeps the game from getting extreamly boring. You can also combine attacks for more powerful moves or to get past special obsticles. It LOOSELY follows the storyline... well as far as gameplay goes at least. Like the LOTR games, the story is very choppy focusing more on action and fighting than telling the story. You get some nice clips from the movie in between the action though.
Anyway, if you like action/fighting games with a few puzzles to work out here and there, you will probably like this. If you like the LOTR games by EA, you will probably like this. If you are not a fan of either, stay away! If youre a Narnia fan and just want to get some peeks at the movie, rent it (and I recommend waiting for the movie anyway.. the clips are put to gether too choppy).
I gave it 3 stars just because Im a huge fan of the Narnia series and it did have some nice clips plus it wasnt horribly boring.
A really fun game from my point of view!

I got this game for Christmas and was really quite impressed. My brother (he's only seven but is surprisingly good at PS2 games) and I got very far in the game in a few days, but we were at some parts for a long time. I thought that the fact that this game is challenging was nice. I like games that are at least a little challenging. This game does not really follow the story line from the book or movie, but show you movie clips for cutscenes, to help you know where you are in the story. The fact that you can change characters whenever you want is great! You can play Peter, Susan, Lucy, or Edmund, and they all have there own abilitys and limitations. I loved this game, and thought it was a great Christmas present. I'd tell more about the game, but I don't want to bore you all to death, or spoil the fun =)!
Do Not Play This Alone!

Great gameplay. Great graphics. But, you need at least 2 or more people to play this game once you reach Narnia. It is impossible to make everyone do what needs to be done all by yourslef and I have no clue as to how you are supposed to collect everything plus defeat all the enemies. I would also suggest a walk through book or webpage otherwise you will get lost. I wouldn't recommend this for children under the age of 13 unlike other users have suggested. Have fun!!!!
Awesome for ages 7 and up

I don't understand the low ratings for this game. If you enjoy RPG you'll enjoy Narnia. It's easy enough for a young person to play along with an adult at the same time as being challenging enough for an experienced gamer. You can play all four characters at once or two players can play two characters each to make it more challenging. For an easier setting, grab three friends and enjoy. BUT instead of taking my word for it, rent it and see for yourself that it's really a fun and entertaining game for the whole family.
On price, I have found Amazon to be the best on purchasing this game. So, once you've rented it and found you enjoy it, purchase it here for the best deal.
This game is fantastic!!!!

You also get 2 do the battle of narnia. You can use arrows and swords 2 fight. The graphics r also fantastic. Buy this game dont rent u will definately be happy.

I bought this game a while back. It's a lot of fun!!!.The gameplay is great, too. It's better if you play in two player mode. In the battle of Bruena you will need two players. It's a 5 star game overall!!!!! It's worth every penny.

This is an awesome game for the whole family
i loved to play this game and couldnt put the controller down. This game is best with two players if you are a beginner but if you are an expert it would be a sinch as one player. It gets more complicated towards the end, but mostly it justs takes patience. You can play as Lucy, Edmund, Peter, or Susan. I prefar Peter because he has the most powerful weapons and inventory. The graphics in the game are good and you dont ever get really bored. I have played the game several times and enjoyed it every time. Overall i think it is a great game.
