if you like terminator 3, then you will like this one at least 3 times better then the 3rd one. i tried this game out at circiuit city and the graphics to the game were really good. the sound is also really good also. it is my favorite action game that i have played so far. it is not a very hard game. if you would like some cheat here are some:
1)at the main menu, select the "credits" options then press circle,R2,triangle while watching it.(level select)
2)at the main menu, select the "credits" options then press circle,R2,R1 while watching it. (invincibility)
3)at the main menu, select the "credits" options then press circle,triangle,L1 while watching it. (all upgrades)

The first thing you're thinking is that: Hey, isn't the name of that movie Rise Of The Machines. True, true, true. The Redemption is more of an expanded version of the film, with a few events happening in the begenning and the end to add the the original film plot. The game allows you to play as Arnold Schwarzzenger as you battle through tons of neat and fun levels. The problem in the game is that most of the time you don't get to experience running around through missions with the Terminator which Terminator fans probably will be begging to do in this third-person mode. But most of the time, the T850 is taking vehicles for test-drives while chasing flying machines or the TX. You have to constantly use vehicles to get through missions, such as using a pick-up truck in a high-speed race to save John Connor and Katherine Brewster. The things added to vehicular gameplay that makes it more interesting is the ability to leap from vehicle to vehicle and take control of it when you're close enough. For example, if you're driving a vehicle on the verge of exploding and see another one nearby, you will be prompted to press a button. When you do, the Terminator will leap out of the vehicle he is driving and take control of the one you were planning on taking. The Terminator also does certain things for certain vehicles. For example, when leaping to the mechanical miniature tanks in the levels that take place during the War Of The Machines, the Terminator will shove his hand into part of the vehicle and yank out a few wires to get rid of its autopilot. And when leaping to normal cars in 2003 such as police and civillian's cars, the Terminator will jump on top of it and collapse part of the roof and with half of his body sticking out of the broken car, he aims with his shotgun. The AI in the game isn't what you would call advanced or intelligent. Though enemy Terminators sometimes rip signs out of the ground to whack you with or after you cripple them, they crawl towards you eerily or climb up your vehicle when you run over them, they aren't really intelligent. I strongly suggest just renting the game if you're a Terminator fan. If you like to drive vehicles, rent it, otherwise I reccomend saving some money and ignoring it completely [Including not renting it].
GREAT GAME!

Terminator 3 redemption is the best terminator game out of the three! In this one you can actually see yourself, unlike terminator 3 rise of the machines. You can also pick up signs and stab robots with them! Terminator 3 redemption is based on the third movie. Atari already made one based on the movie but this is just a much better version. In this game you can drive cars, which isnt in any of the other terminator games.

OK, they got me once again. Like a sucker, I bought the game before renting it. I heard how great it was. Well yeah, if you like racing games. What's the deal!!! If I wanted racing, I'd play Mario Kart. Most of the time you're racing through the game in some vehicle, whether its on the ground or in the air.
I could easily rack up frequent flyer miles along with a tumor from the headaches this game causes. Here's a tip for designers of shooter games: "INCLUDE A SAVE ANYWHERE FEATURE". Who enjoys going through a level for 15 minutes, only to fail and have to repeat it over and over again? Come on, give me one name.
I am so disappointed over this game. I started playing the previous version, T3 Rise of the Machines to vent my frustrations. Now that's a much better game. You actually feel like you're Arnold instead of Tony Stewart since all of it is on foot instead of some fast stupid vehicle.
If you like racing, then this game is for you. If you like a fun shooter, then stay away. The only thing saying "I'll be back" is my lunch because this game makes me sick to my stomach.
Oh yeah, another stomach turner is "No One Lives Forever". I'm still seeing a psychologist, trying to help me understand why I bought that worthless piece of crap. That game will haunt me to my grave.
dissapointing...

This game is really fun at first being an T-850. It gets really boring and repetetive when you die on the same mission over and over again. There should really be some checkpoints so you don't have to waste an extra 10 minutes. On many missions you are doing two things at the same time-driving and shooting. It becomes easier after a few hundred times. A few things I liked about this game are actual movie clips from T-3 and being able to take control of Futuristic vehicles. I also liked how realistic it looks when Arnie gets shot. You will be able to see his exoskeleton. This game starts off from Arnold killing John Connor, so basically its just an expanded version of T-3. See if you like it by RENTING it even if you are a fan of it.
An awsome game

Let me start with the good things about this game. First of all, this game has amazing graphics. It also has an amazing story, and awesome gameplay. What more could someone ask for in a game? How about a little easier game? This game is the most frustrating game I've played. I mean seriously, I don't think the people who made this game heard of checkpoints!!!! When I'm playing a level, I'll get to the very end and then I'll die and start the whole dumb level over again. The only way you could ever beat this game is with cheats. Overall, a pretty descent game. It could've been a little easier though.
You won't be back

This game is very hard, and not in a fun challenging way, just retardedly hard with nothing to do really but follow a T-X and shoot her 12 levels in a row (with her obviously not getting hurt at all) the worst part is the whole "no checkpoints" and can't save till end of level, so if you are like 1 feet away from finishing the level but then die, you start all over again. As most said before, best if you just borrow, or skip this game all together.
