I really love the ninja turtles, so i wanted to have a biast view on this game. But i couldn't, it wasn't really fun, i mean it was ok. But nothing that matched my nastalgic love for the turtles. So, what kept me playing was unlocking the Ninja Turtles Arcade game. But they did not fully redeem themselves there either. I liked replaying the game, and liked the fact that you could keep putting in quarters (as if you had money); BUT you cant choose what turtle you want to be. Which severly sucks, i loved Donatello's special in that game. Instead i'm stuck with Leonardo (my least favorite of the turtles).
Not very good.

Stick with 2D ninja turtles games konami cause they clearly can't make a fun 3d game.
This is way better then the "Grand Thef Auto" games

TMNT were the greatest games played back on NES now they still is on PS2 it has a lot od action and adventure. The graphic are tight and sweet. The levels are hard but thats what I like about it.

Alot of people say this is a continuation of the first game- but that's only true chronologically, since the games follow the episodes of the series. The game play in number 2 is better and less repetitive, there's better characters with alot more "mini bosses", there's more to cover and the best part is you don't have to complete each level four times character by character to actually finish the game. Also, if you feel like playing one stage without doing the whole damn level, you're free to do so.
The tournament mode is much better than the challenge mode in game one. You have more to do and the final tournament has a little story of it's own. You can also substitue turtles for other characters like Karai and Slasher (who's not part of the TV series, but kicks insane amounts of ass nonetheless). Another perk is each character has their own "special move" that charges up to deliver mass amounts of hurt on the enemy. Because it takes a while to charge and has little range, it's almost useless, but nice to have either way.
One of the greatest improvements to this game is the fact that the characters don't shout out their lines every time you move. That's right, Mickey can still hover and you don't have to hear him say "eat feet" 1000 times before he lands.
The one thing I don't like about this game is how you're graded on performance and team work after you complete each stage. It's nice to get good marks, but if I don't get an "A" in a stage, I feel obligated to go back and play until I do.
Ninja Turtles for Super nintendo is better than this!

Ninja Turtles Battle Nexsus sucks! The game sucks. Your moves suck and don't have anything to do with ninja turtles. Last time I checked Mikey couldn't throw a fireball. This is the worst game since Spyro Enter the dragonfly. Save your money and buy Kingdom Hearts. Kingdom Hearts rocks. Ninjs turtles 2 sucks.
ITS SIMPLE.
Best TMNT Game Ever

the game is actually ok but i never played the first one but i bought this for the arcade game and it was Garbage with a capital G. i don't care about any other reviews on this game but the arcade game is nothing like the arcade except the gameplay and stages. i mean there's lack of sound effects,no intro,no talking, weak graphics, same annoying music every stage,etc.etc. unless you didn't grow up playing this game in the arcades ypu'll probably like it. unless konami release a greatist hits like the other smart companies with the turtles games, the simpsons, sunset riders,x-men in there true arcade form wiht 4 and 6 players and maybe with unlockable extras such as the nes turtles, contra and snes contra, and more, konami is garbage except for the metal gear games.
freaken good game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I liked the first one. It was a pretty fun game. But this bland sequel is a horrible waste of time. Even after the first 20 minutes, I was already sick of this game and just wanted to turn it off. It's atrociously repetetive, the environments suck, and the camera angles are all skewed making it hard to fight off enemies with some sort of control of your character. There are times when everything on the screen is so far away that you basically need to hold a magnifying glass up to the screen to see what you need to do. A cheap way of getting around poor graphics. And the music just sucked so bad it was almost offensive. Don't even waste your time on this junk heap of worthlessness.
