Dull, slow, poor graphics. One game quit working. I finally removed the all the software. I love my other Hoyle games (solitaire and word) but this one is not up to Hoyle's standards. Perhaps I should have purchased an older version of Puzzle and Board Games. Save your $ and don't buy this version.

I enjoyed the 2005 version and waited for the 2007 release. What I received were virtually the same games, no new characters, and a sound track that is defective and unsynchronized with the characters. Shame on Hoyle.

I'm very disappointed with my Hoyle 2007 puzzle and board and card games. Some of the features don't work, ie the button in Zilch. When you want stop rolling the dice the keep points button doesn't light up, so you have to roll again and again until you get Zilch. Part of the catalog went missing. There is no longer more than 60 pages to choose from, just 41. I am very unhappy with all three of the Hoyle 2007 puzzle and board and card games, that I bought from Amazon. This is the second bad set of Hoyle 2007 puzzle, board and card game that I bought from Amazon. The first I returned for these bad boys. Just as time was up these went bad. This is just a sample of whats wrong with the games.
Big Disappointment

This game doesn't work on laptops which is what I use. When I was thinking about buying the software, I didn't see anything in the description about this limitation.
Not much has changed

If you don't have a previous version of board & puzzle games I suggest you pick this up, there's lots of fun stuff to keep you busy. For those that do have earlier version I don't recommend it. The new games aren't even built with the normal Hoyle interface (just other companies games launched from the Hoyle menu) and there's much better versions of those games elsewhere.

I was excited to see on the box that there were new players added. Where?? Can't find them. And I have problems with the Pachisi, in moving the piece and putting it where I want. Anyone else find this? Other than that I like this game. And having Jewels and Sudoku is neat. I spend hours playing all the different games.

I bought this game mainly for Pachisi, and it simply doesn't work. Can't move ANY of the pieces. Utterly unplayable.
I like the Zilch game, which was new to me.
The backgammon is good, but for some odd reason I get 6 or seven doubles all in a row and so does my computer partner. Kinda weird.
The AI on these games is very bad if you are playing against computer players. This games are much better if you play with a real person, taking turns - not using the AI characters.
The triple yacht is fun - you can play by yourself without using a computer character.
This is a good "try", but I wonder sometimes if game companies Actually TEST their product out on real people before releasing it to the public.
Warning for Vista users

Microsoft Vista users should know that, although the games work perfectly well in Vista, the help files do NOT work - they're apparently written in a very old Windows help format that is not supported in Vista. So, if you already know how to play the games, this is a lot of fun. If you need instructions, you're out of luck.
You can go to the Hoyle site and download the help files in pdf format. But then when you want help or instructions, you have to exit the Hoyle program and open acrobat reader to read them...not very convenient.
Not great.

I used to have an old Hoyle board games cd and I liked it. I thought this purchase would be a safe bet, but I was disappointed. The game selection is poor. Most are just plain boring. Some of the games are difficult to navigate. Pachisi, for instance, is almost impossible to play. It takes several attempts to get your piece to move to the right spot. And the concept of "Hoyle Bucks" is pretty dumb. There isn't anything all that interesting to buy. Overall, I found this cd to be a disappointment. You do get puzzle games as well, but they aren't much better.
Bravo!
