In my opinion, this is the best of all the Sonic the Hedgehog game for PC. It has six different people you can be, (not including Super Sonic who you get at the end of the game after you've beat it as everyone) and every one of them has lots of levels and sub games that you can play over again for bonuses. Another one of the things you can play is the character's missions that you get once you've beat the game as that particular character. Not only that, you get old Sonic games, such as Sonic Chaos, for the emblems that you collect along the game. You also have the chao worlds where you can hatch, and then train each of your chaos to its own personality, such as flying or strength. The games rarely bugs on me, so overall, Sonic DX is really good.

Ok. Evreyone Says That It's A Port From Sonic Adventure. Well It's Not. It's A Remake Of It. All in all, it's a great game.

Finally, Sonic Adventure takes it's first leap from the Game Cube onto the PC. Now I can finally play the game that marked Sonic's first run in a compltely 3D envoironment. It was also his first tread on our little Earth. The story: Dr. Eggman has discovered a mysterious creature called Chaos, a water based monstrosity that feeds off the power of chaos emeralds...by devouring them! With each emerald absorbed into it's blue gel-like body, Chaos becomes ever stronger. It's a race against time to beat Eggman (no pun intended) to the emeralds or Chaos will become powerful enough to destroy the world. This title was originaly released on the sadly short lived Sega Dreamcast as simply Sonic Adventure. This second version of Sonic's biggest land mark (before Sonic Heroes) is the so called "director's cut" though not much seems to have changed. Then again this is the first time I've ever played this one. The 3D rendering is a bit new for me (I'm used to playing Sonic in 2D) but it's fun. I've gotten the hang of it. I also love the music, but then, I've always enjoyed the music in these games. I also like the fact that you can play, not only as Sonic, but as one of five other characters as well (as opposed to Heroes in which you play as teams of three). There's also Tails, Knuckles, Amy and two characters who were new at the time of this game's release Big The Cat and a robot with a consience E-102 GAMMA. And even better, each character has their own story line to follow so it's a different game each time you play as a different character! And remember, in a way you're also playing Sonic X, the hit cartoon on 4Kids TV which I am also enjoying. Here's to hoping they release Sonic Adventure 2 Battle on the PC soon too.

It is a great game after all.

Yeah! It may be a port from Dreamcast version of Sonic Adventure. I have not played Dreamcast version of Sonic Adventure before. It is really an interesting game as it has a deep storyline of every character. The content is healthy. I can feel the speed from the character of Sonic the Hedgehog. Unlike Sonic Heroes, the sonic's speed becomes less important as it has a new element, team action. I believe that most of the people play Sonic game because they want to enjoy the speed character, Sonic the Hedgehog. So, there is it. If you want to play something different, simply play as other five characters. I hope you all like this game.

Nice game, nice storyline, bad technical aspects

Like I said the game is awesome, and the storyline is pretty deep. But, the tech aspects are seriously flawed. The controls are a huge problem. I feel that the analog stick is a crucial part to a big portion of the control scheme. The keyboard just doesn't cut it. Then, of course you have your screwed up camera angles. They were fine up until Stage 7 of Sonic's adventure. They keep going all sorts of funky ways so when you jump you jump the direction away from the camera's new direction instead of the intended direction, so I have lost many times to that serious glitch. So, when you go to play this game keep in mind that you WILL lose many times due to control problems and weird glitches like falling through a guardrail. Good Game Sega, but not for the PC.
