Let's begin with Chronicles. The game is really fun. I found the last 3 levels, infiltrating and escaping from VCI's high-tech facility a LOT of fun. The Ireland levels are fun despite no weapons, and both the Russian base/submarine and Rome levels are really well designed. Usually, I lose interest after playing so many levels of a game, but in Chronicles, it just stayed fun all the way through.

Now, onto Last Revelation. This game is not so great. Firstly, the biggest issue I have with it is the fact that there are several sets of levels you have to repeat. They're more like mini-levels really, I guess they did this to save load times, but I would've preferred a single level rather than jumping around from one to another and back again etc.

I must give 5 stars in this review.....so Chronicles holds up with it's half, 2.5/2.5, but as for Last Revelation, 1.5/2.5. But if you like Tomb Raider, get this box set...LR is fun after all in it's own way.

Lara's bust is the best part....

I purchased this recently (many years after the release date) and was seriously disappointed in the voice acting and the graphics. In addition to this, the gameplay and puzzles are intensely frustrating and I nearly punched out the screen after dying trying to jump the chasm for the hundredth time!

The guns are like the weapons of the 1993 Doom game (bad!!!). Though the crossbow and lasersight can be cool, I only used it on the demo because I never got far enough in the games to find it! The camera angle is focused on Lara's sorry posterior, what's wrong with seeing her front-on occasionally!

The only positve aspect of the games is that Lara has a decent figure and is well sexy!

If you want true adventure and no messing about, buy Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb. However, if you like cyberbabes look no further than Tomb Raider.

After a century of male superheroes, Lara rises to the top!

First of all, let me just start out by saying that Tomb Raider is one of the greatest games Iýve ever played. I wonýt bother telling you all about the Lara Croft and what the game is about because if youýre searching for parts 4 and 5 Iým guessing you already know the basic point of the game. In short itýs an adventure game. Lara Croft is a female ýIndiana Jonesý. Tomb Raider and Indiana Jones are one. They are adventurous, can fight, are not exactly afraid of much, take big risks, put their own lives in danger, and have this magnetic attraction to Egypt!

Part 4 is only set in Egypt. Unlike the other Tomb Raider games where a couple of levels are in Egypt (Tomb Raider 1) and suddenly youýre in Rome or something, Tomb Raider: the last revelation is entirely set in Egypt. It starts out before Lara was a tomb raider, when she had Von Croy as her tutor. The game shows him dying in the heart of the place and shows how Lara returns to Egypt. She travels from Cleopatraýs remarkable palaces under the sea to Greek castles on the beach side. She takes train trips and encounters enchanting enemies like a phoenix! But the worst thing she does is that she awakens Seth/ Horus. Is she crazy? No, just very adventurous! The game has a shocking and upsetting ending where Lara dies. But you find her alive in tales of her adventurous in the ýTomb Raider: Chroniclesý and at the end they show how Lara may be alive.

Enough with the story. Whatýs really great? TOMB RAIDER 4: She has even more guns, tricky mind-boggling puzzles to solve, and dangerous enemies to fight. The stories are the things that really make Tomb Raider 4 great. The guns are excellent too. AND the enemies I mean mummies, skeletons, fire-breathing birds, people, and Egyptian gods among others! And if this was a movie, it would be sure to win a cinematography Oscar. Cleopatraýs palaces, the beaches, the Greek temples, the Egyptian deserts, are all beautiful. And whatýs really fun is the vehicles you can drive like cars and you ride on trains.

TOMB RAIDER 5: If you get bored of staying in the same scenery in Tomb Raider, this game is for you. The place youýre in changes from submarines, air vents, storage rooms, and sinister forests to skyscrapers and the streets of Ancient Rome. You start out in Rome and work your way through to the 13th floor of the Tower Block level. The guns you get in the tower levels are great. You also learn new techniques like making someone choke on chlorine. Some sections of this game are very difficult. You even encounter imaginary characters and live-dead corpses. Some of the hard sections include acrobatic skills, jumping wide distances, trying to avoid lasers when you can hardly see them, and saving your life in a submarine that is about to sink and has electrified water so if you step down you die. This game was definitely very challenging, if you can finish this without cheats, you are a master at this game! I highly recommend this but warn you in telling you that you need quick reflexes and critical thinking skills!

I really enjoyed this two games and I recommend them to history lovers, art lovers, game lovers, adventure lovers, puzzle lovers, action lovers, destruction lovers, horror-theme lovers, and Tomb Raider fans!
