Might be good...if it worked right

My little boys got this game from a relative for Christmas and haven't been able to get it to work right. First, I like the idea of teaching them that they need to master skills before they can move on, but it gets a bit frustrating for a 3 and 4 year old who want to explore more. They are very limited in what they can do at this level. And if the concept actually WORKED it would be OK, but we can't get past 5 stars. Even when it says we are awarded more, they don't show up. I've emailed THQ and they gave the standard RTFM. I reinstalled, still doesn't work. Also the vehicles are difficult to move and some things are just impossible, like putting out the fire during the 3rd training exercise.
VERY FRUSTRATING FOR KIDS AND ADULTS, WOULDNT BUY FOR KIDS UNDER 10

My son is five years old and is a wiz on the computer. We own most of all the construction games sold on amazon. We also have dig and rig and many others.
This game was my worst mistake! It has made him so frustrated he sits in tears. I play it to get him to the next level and it is tough for me to get the 3 stars to move on. They put in so many tricks so you really have to be an adult and or pretty smart kid to figure them out.
I asked my son, "are you having fun" he said no
that was the end of that game
buy any other one but this unless you are up for a huge challenge
need to get another one

My five year old son cannot stop playing this game. We brought it to Grandmas house and realized that we needed to change the bit size of the screen. If the game does not load and you get a black screen you just need to make a few adjustments. You should be able to do this by looking in the hand book.
This game is challenging. I much rather my son play a game that is going to make him think a little bit than just sit there mindlessly. I am looking to replace our copy because the disc cracked in an accident.
You really need to think and use the correct machine for the job.
Over all my son loves the game. we have all of the other TONKA pc games and this one is more difficult than the others. I would not recomend this as your first game. Look for some of the other TONKA pc games to try first.
A great game for a kid who wants to do more than mash buttons

This game is challenging and fun! It requires the player to think a little to complete puzzles in the form of "Jobs" by utilizing the right trucks (each one is better at different things), finding shortcuts, and thinking of clever solutions. This is a great game for a kid who likes to have fun while solving interesting puzzles!
