Definitely worth it!

If you love the tomb raider games and don't have two of three of the games you get in this software, this is for you. Also if you aren't a Tomb Raider fan yet, buy this and soon you will be. Lara Croft is a role model who has become a worldwide celebrity. Fast moves, great graphics, fantastic levels and mind-blowing riddles and searches make Tomb Raider games great. If you want a challenge, these games are for you. They are anything but easy. I myself can't finish the games without using some cheats from the Internet.

Tomb Raider is an exploration-based game that allows you to shoot your way through things, solve puzzles, search, fight, and more importantly have some fun. It's of coarse important to save you game whenever you get past a hard section because Lara can accidentlly fall into obstacles that take her life away. But then that's sort of a practice isn't it? Speaking of which unlike the last 2 editions of Tomb Raider, these three allow you to explore Lara's home and find things that even she never knew of. These include the large maze with the Inca statues, Lara's secret museum, and of coarse the exciting and very large buggy riding coarse. You'll always feel great after you finish a level, which isn't easy to do unless you have had some practice with Tomb Raider games before. I would highly recommend it and if you agree with any of reasons above, you are sure to love these games!...

A Collection of Three Wonderful Video Games

5 Rating: 5, Useful: 13 / 17

From the ruins of Rome to the futuristic setting of Atlantis, Tomb Raider takes the gamer through a variety of wonderful worlds. I believe that the games of the Tomb Raider series are among the best games ever made, and I know that they will all certainly become clasics. This combination pack is ideal for anybody interested in becoming a Tomb Raider.

The scenery in the Tomb Raider series is better than that of most games, although it is mostly cubed and flat. The game play and plot are wonderful, and the graphics and sounds are great. Laura's moves and weapons are limited in the original, but by the third version they are wonderfully expanded.

I would recommend this game package to any fan of the Tomb Raider series and to the average gamer. The gamer will find something they like in one of the three versions. The original game stays in the tombs and has the best plot. Tomb Raider II offers wonderful AI and is perhaps the best for a gamer seeking combat, while Tomb Raider III combines the better aspects of the previous two. I highly recommend purchasing this package to try out the series. If you like it, I highly recommend the next two games in the series.

Maybe if the first guy that reveiwed this, ya know the evil brit guy, found this game so challenging he shouldnt be playing it, there's probably a blue's clues game somewhere that would better suit his skill level. Tomb Raider is probably one of the best PC games out there in my opinion. I dont see why anyone would ever dis this game, maybe they were mad because they couldnt understand it and all their friends could, I dunno.

Now with the release of "Tomb Raider: Chronicles", what a better way to end this series and continue the legacy of Ms Lara Croft is the production of "Tomb Raider Anthology".

This pack contains three discs, all the first three adventures of Lara, a fantastic poster and a mousepad.

The first disc starts out with Lara's very first adventure, the game that changed the gaming world : Tomb Raider 1. Help Lara in her quest to search for the mystic Scion as she climbs vast mountain ranges of Peru to swimming to the very depths of the ocean to the lost city of Atlantis. Fantastic game, even if it does run on Ms-Dos.

The second disc is Tomb Raider 2: The Dagger of Xian. Lara's adventures continues in China, Venice and Tibet as she searches for the magical daggers before it can harm the world. This second game punches in more action and puzzles to solve. This second game runs on Windows.

The third disc features Lara's third adventure in search of some lost artefact. This game features new moves of Lara and new exciting places to explore. This third game also runs on Windows.

Overall this is a great package to buy, since you will get three fantastic games for the price of one... so why wait?

Pack your pistols and start adventuring with the world's favourite sexy bomb shell adventurer, Lara Croft !

Well, this game is awesome. It is such an awesome idea. To combine the first 3 games. The graphics are aesome, and it is just a hard enough game to play. And I loved the game play.

One of the best games I've played!

It's great! 3 really great games in 1 package and for the price of one! If you own or have played any of the Tomb Raider games, this is a must buy! Of course, it is anyway! Some of the levels are tough, and it can be very frustrating at times. But eventually, you'll figure out what to do. This is evidently one of the best computer games I own!

Gratuitous violence

There's no question that these three games are a lot of fun, and that children love them. There's also no question that the software itself is flawless. The games do not (unlike many others) crash. They run, and run, and run.

On the other hand, that's exactly the problem. Like too many computer and video games, these Tomb Raider titles are filled with gratuitous violence.

The games should not, in my view, be rated as they are. For my sensitivities, I'd have preferred an "M" rating. Parents, beware; children under 15 should not use these games.

Some of it works on XP, some doesn't

Two out of the three games works on an XP machine, but the one I really wanted to work (Tomb Raider 1) did not. It made my monitor go all funky display-wise. The product description for this product says nothing about Tomb Raider 1 working for only Win95, or DOS. Caveat Emptor (Let the buyer beware).

An anthology of overrated crap

Face it, the one reason these utterly awful games ever got any recognition was for their zephyr chested star. For God's sake, she's a computer generated graphic image!

Everything about these games leaves me wondering why oh why they have achieved such universal acclaim? Is there actually some appeal in the overcomplicated, vindictively fiddly controls? Or maybe it's the uninspiring level design, the flat, underwhelming graphics (even for their time), or maybe it's the impossibly cryptic puzzles and diamond hard gameplay? I mean, I like a challenge but this is just over the top.

What is it that made these games so popular? How could so many people be won over by a shallow, soullessly designed and impossibly proportioned heroine? It certainly isn't the flat, unoriginal plot. Tomb Raider sucks ass, play Soul Reaver if you want a proper adventure game and leave this to the rabid dogs!
