This game is crazy! Chopping people's head off and jabbing shards of glass into peoples faces. Blowing heads off with shotguns and watching the brains slide down the wall! Hitting someone in the forehead with a hammer! All this and getting more and more points for the worst way you can kill the guy! Awesome!!! I love this game. I recommend it to anyone over the age of 10! Screw the Mature rating! Everyone needs to play this killerific game! Buy it now god damn it!

Ever since GTA 3 was released, I'm a huge fan of Rockstar North. Their graphic engine and realistic environments are unprecedented. The whole game setting, the music, the beautifully detailed characters (in this game you actually see the player carry his weapons) and the diversity of each level is just great. It's true that it's annoying that you don't have a save option so you gotta repeat the whole level, but this game is totaly worth it. It's addictive, fun, thought provoking and really scarry.

Boring and Frustrating

I played 8 levels and this game is a combination of all that sucks about computer gameplay....1. ALL STEALTH and NO PLAY is totally BORING. 2. Preset game save is total BS when you finish 1/2 of a tough level and lose to some stupid logistical nightmare of getting around a wall while being shot at and of course dying easy. 3. I like to watch real time game play when I attack someone..not a video outtake!! I tore it off my hard drive and plan to give this game to someone I hate.

IT IS NO FUN....DONT BUY IT.

AWESOME!!!

Played it on my playstation when it first came out and loved it. The graphics are much better on the PC so I decided to play it once again. It's a very graphic game and definatly not for kids. Can't wait for Manhunt 2.

I was really excited when this game was first advertised. But was mad when it only for PS2. Well it cam to Xbox! I rented the game b/c it looked a little strong. IT IS! This is game that your mother warned you about. Blood, gore, curseing its all here. This game is not for everyone! Know that! But for those with stomach for Rockstar's "Manhunt" will get a pretty good game. You are James Earl Cash, a "dead man" stuck in a wasteland called Carcer City whare you are hunted by 5 gangs each with a differnt look as well as diffent ways of hnting and killing you. There is not as much stratagy in the game as I had hoped. It's pretty easy to hide. The game was not as scary as I anticipated ethier. But some kill sceens are intense. The game gets a tad borning after a while. It's just the same thing. Salking and killing. This is a game you should deffinately rent. Rockstar is still the best at putting out origenal, crowd pleasing titles.

Worst I've ever played

This game consists of you walking down a street and killing gangstas. Your character can't duck, jump or anything else that you'd expect. The only way to survive is to sneak around corners; it's so slow paced that it will take you at least 40 minutes to get past a level.

But what I really hate is the darkness. I had to close all my windows, turn off all the lights, crank up the brightness to the max, and only then I could barealy make up the character's white shirt. I was guessing where the enemies would be since I couldn't see anything during the whole game.

Avoid.

Pretty funny, gore, awesome, gore, gore and gore

First: this game is not for children.

Depravated game, but FUNNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. You are finally a bad guy, not a g@y hero, you are James Earl Cash.
As this guy, you awake from the letal injections, and hear a stranger voice, the Brian Cox voice, telling you that you have to KILL A LOT OF SADISTIC, DEPRAVATED, crazy gangbanger, incluiding thiefs, psichos, nazis.... scumbag in 1 word. you begin with a tutorial, bla, bla, bla and later there is a graffiti saying "kill this dumb.." you grab a plastic bag, you kill him, Brian "starkweather" congratulates you and there is, you have an a idea of the game. Later, the wardogs, those freaks military bas.... you kill an a stupid military idiot grab his machete, kil his dork friend and you have head as a "trophy".
The sound is very good, you hear bad commentaris who leave like a puss.. to a sailor.
Hey, hey this game is excellent, not recommended for cardiac persons, impresionable guys and IS NOT SUITABLE FOR PERSONS UNDER 18 YEARS, TRUST ME

You take splinter cell, you take away the engaging story line, you take away complex level design, you take away character versatility, you take away advanced graphics, you take away objective variety, you got manhunt.

Zip, zap, zoop.

For a particular type of gamer

Manhunt

This game is great, if you like stalking and killing other poor souls. It is very well made with a real sense of danger and risk. Very fun to play with the lights off and has great replayability as you are able to unlock various cheats, bonus minigames and artwork by playing on the harder difficulty level. Definitely worth the money. It's one of my absolute favorite games for PC.

Too hard and Unbalanced

The character you play is James Earl Cash,a man that was suppose to die on a electric chair,he escapes so every gang and group is everyone in the city is trying to find him. This game is fun when you first play it and then later on around the fourteenth level this game is way too difficult. This game has so many things wrong with how it plays,at least the violent stealth kills are cool, but besides that the game is lacking overall. In this game you mostly hide in the shadows and wait until they turn around and kill them with wire, plastic bag or shoot them in the head. The problem with this game is that when the character does not have a weapon he can not fight without losing a lot of health or everyone finding where you are at.Later on when you go against the swat you have to restart over and over because they outnumber you in better weapons and people.

When their is five enemies with machine guns against you that is unbalanced.Another problem is the radar, their could be an enemy standing right next to you and the radar will not show it and then you get seen. The game is about stealth kills in the beginning, but later on the stealth is replaced most of the time with guns, which is not fun when you are outnumbered. The health items are hidden and hard to find so you are likely have to start over it find where it is at,saving is not any better and you cannot save unless you get really far into the level before you get the save point tape item.

Manhunt is not good game to play and it wasn't for the extreme difficultly this game would be better. This game is mostly uses the hit and run tactic most of the time because the fighting is useless and you are outnumbered with guys with better weapons. This game overall is weak and unbalanced.

Pros: stealth kills, grainy videos and voice acting

Cons: cannot save without save hit tape, ridiculous amount of enemies at once with better weapons, can't see enemies on radar that are very close, frustrating difficulty that makes you crazy after you play the same level over and over
