according to my child, 9 years, the game is not very interactive - more like watching short film clips.
Lack of directions

This game is bright, colorful and I can tell it's supposed to be fun but I have had issues with a lack of directions. There are many games to be played on this CD set but one cannot play more than 2 games before (unlocking) and moving forward to the other games on the CD. This seems quite strange and frustrating for me and my 7 year old. I wish I could figure out why?? Also, it is brand new for Christmas and we have played it about 5 times, twice already we have had to restart due to Charlie getting "stuck" in the game and not being able to move him anymore. Don't know if mine has "bugs" or if the game in general is lacking.
Fun. But, aim for the 12 and under crowd.

I am a grown man. I have always enjoyed the first Willy Wonka movie. I have yet to see the new movie. But, if it's anything like this game, it's not all that different. A very similar plotline gives us older folks (35) a chance to sort of exist inside the story we grew up with. But, the gameplay experience is much too simplistic for an adult. Shame. The movie's always kind of been for the adults really. I decided to play it with my son. Now, there was an enjoyable experience. Extremely colorful, and chocked full of mini games. The Factory is alive with things to see and do. A large assortment of logical puzzles as well as quick mouse button mashing games. Quite long as well. 2 CD roms that take up a surprising 1.1 gig. That's a bit for games aimed at the younger crowd. It is entertaining. But, Johnny Depp is not doing the voiceover for Willy Wonka. You'll be surprised to hear that it is James Taylor. For us old fogies, he's an incredible singer from thousands of years ago ;-). You really can't go wrong with this, though. It's very magical.

This is a good game, but I had trouble understanding the directions before some mini games(Mike TV, Veruca Salt, etc.)

This game is a puzzle-oriented game but allows children to explore and grab lots of candy. My son loves it and I would recommend it.

2 KG Games is not existant. The game is developed by Global Star Software, not 2 KG Games. I checked the web site of 2 KG Games, and the web site didn't showed up for some kind of reason. That means that this company is made up, its non existant!
