The Old One Was Fun! This One Isn't

When I bought "Solitaire Antics" for my Mac Book Pro, I was very excited. I fully expected it would be the same delightful game that I used to play on my OS 9.2. The old game is, unfortunately, not compatible with OSX.
On the old version, silly ants would flit across the screen at various times: roller skaters, long-distance runners; the king ant chasing a pretty ant; the queen ant chasing the king ant with a frying pan; Egyptian pharoahs and their entourages--all sorts of nonsense that was fun. And when one won, a series of brightly colored balloons would go up into the air; a silly horse with a sparkling gold tooth in a horseshoe of roses would pop out; a band of ants would cross the screen playing trumpets; or some ant-chorus girls in feather boas would dance across the screen. And it was giggle-producing fun!
There was also a greater variety of solitaire games, including my favorite, "Agnes;" and the games had variable settings.
In this new unecessarily updated version, the modernized ants make a lot of noise and commit all manner of mayhem on each other's persons (if one can use the word in respect to an insect). The humor has disappeared totally and the ants are annoyingly noisy and just plain stupid.
Furthermore, they have dropped a number of games including "Agnes;" and they have changed "Forty Thieves" to "Thieves of Egypt" which is an entirely different game.
This version is so bad that I trashed it and bought Hoyle Board Games instead.
Lose the obnoxious ants and bring back the silly ones as well as the original card games.
