If you've read secret commandos or SOG by Maj. John Plaster now you have a chance to do the same missions you read about in this game. If you havent read it then 1. punish yourself 2. go buy the books and then this game. I was put off by the low price at first but when i saw what it was based off of and now especially since i've actually played it and seen how complex it is, its awesome. You can try to shoot your way through some of the levels or do some quality splinter cell type sneaking etc something for everyone except for those puzzle game people. Do yourself a favor and buy this.
Only a recon man will ever know...

All those who've read reviews on gaming forums and websites are surely skeptical - this game didn't receive a high rating. Why? My guess is that most want a game that is somewhat linear and doesn't require much thought process except placing the crosshair over the enemy and pulling the trigger. If that's what you're after, then don't buy this game because you won't be playing Rambo in this game.
Just like a real recon One-Zero, you plan your missions, select your team members, equip them with a large variety of weapons, then insert them into hostile targets in the Prairie Fire AO. Things go from total silence to absolute chaos as your team slogs through triple-canopy jungle and dense underbrush. You have to play smart, or you whole team will be KIA. If you've read any of John L. Plaster's books, then you'll have some idea of what to expect because he was the historical and technical advisor behind this game. The graphics look great with a high screen resolution and high video settings, but I would guess this game would be quite taxing on an older system.
