One of the greatest platformers for the PS2 ever!

Sly 3 was a fantastic game. not like in the former sly cooper games this one has eight different playable characters(!)The game is mostly a platform game and has many mini games. the graphics are cute(for people who like comics style) and the audio is fantastic. So, if you like platform games or generally any video game and you don't know which game to pick take this one!

If you're a Playstation 2 owner, you must have all three Sly Cooper games. If you don't, you're missing out. All three are super fun to play. The graphics are spot on, the controls are perfect and the characters are so cool. If I had to complain about anything with Sly 3 it would be the 3D levels. They don't really look 3D to me. And the glasses hurt my eyes. But that's ok because you don't have to play the levels in 3D. Which I don't.

Sly 3 is good, but there was room for TONS of improvment. You want my opinion? Sly 2 was better. Before I got this game, I was sure beyond reason that it was going to be an amazing wonder. Alas, I was a naive fool. This game is good, but be prepared for a huge disappointment. Sure, you can play as more people, but most of 'em can only do 2 things. Being extra guys may be a huge pro, but they are so limited, it's more of a con out of disappoinment, know what I mean? Besides, even if they were as good as the original characters, you can't even play as them at will, only on certian missions, I'm serious! If you read rhe other reviews, you know you can play as Dimitri, but he can only be played as when he's underwater, and can't even use his electric blast. When you play as Panda King, you can't even use fireballs, "Firey Wheel", or "Palms of Thunder", you can only shoot fireworks, and do a flame chop. And when you play as Penelope, you can't play as her directly, you can only play as her RC car, or RC chopper. And speaking of her RC chopper, there's no bombs or cannons on it, only a grappling line. On the good side, you can play missions whenever you want, after they're completed, that's an absolute pro. Another strait pro is that Bently can pickpocket, Murray on the other hand can shake the loot out of the gaurds' pockets. On the other hand, no stealing loot from those stands. And no clues. You can't even buy moves for the extra guys. By the way, when bently sings opra, he sounds AWFUL. I was also kinda disappointed that there was no Clockwerk. Not to mention, the ending is REALLY bad, so they better make a Sly 4, and if they do make a Sly 4, I'm probably gonna hesitate to get it. This IS a fairly fun game, don't get me wrong, but Sucker-Punch has let me down. Do yourself a favor and rent this game before you buy it.

P.S. Penelope is not a rabbit, as I once thought, she's a mouse.

I've beaten the game twice and loved it!!!!
It is so cool!
I love how you get to play as so many different people.
I think it's a top notch game that everyone that's ready for it should play(warning, it is a challenging game! Only play when ready!)

I am a huge fan of the original Sly Cooper game. While it was not a difficult game, it offered a lot of fun and challenge in the form of lengthy platforming levels. In that game, you could spend several minutes smoothly running through the levels jumping, swinging and shimmying among the obstacles. In Sly 2, this model was thrown away for a more GTA-inspired mission-based model. Missions had less platforming and were often short and just plain boring. In Sly 3, all that was good about Sly is gone. The missions are very short and often pointless. There is very little good platforming. The only positive parts of the game are the art, humor and story. If you are looking for a fun platforming experience, give this one a pass and pick up one of the Ratchet games or Psychonauts.

Who would of thought they'd bring an already great great game and make it better. Im talking about the amazing improvements they did to make sly 3. First, there are extra missions after every level and amazing multyplayer. Suped up graphics and intense jobs make this game what I call la piece de la resistance in the Cooper series.

Fun as the rest of 'em...

It's sooooo good!But its also kinda hard.But I dont care because hard is my thing!I'm a Sly Cooper fan and I really hope there is a Sly 4!So Please take my advice and Try out this really awesome game!

No, Sorry I'm his number one fan so, just go away...my god...Slys mine....Anyways in sly 5 its pretty fun. I think many will enjoy sly. Not nearly as much as I do...lol I hope you like this game if you bought it.
